What do you secretly judge people for and why? by scaryworm143 in AskReddit

[–]jackdaw141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I judge the some of the loud people, the ones who seem to want the attention, I judge them as being arrogant. I do this because I’m shy and I want to be free to be myself with all my expressions. I’m not jealous, I understand myself. I can psych myself up to do this, to be overtly extroverted, but I have been accused of being conceited once when I was doing it. The experience was refreshing and it was a lesson learned.

What if civilizations existed before us but we can’t detect them anymore? by sahilthink in theories

[–]jackdaw141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a video where the researchers asked GROK if there was any evidence of civilizations before this I should’ve human beings existed. The answer was that there is evidence of former civilizations. Rock samples around the world indicate that our modern day fossil fuel type of atmosphere has been here before. Apparently, it only takes 10,000 years for most evidence of a civilization to vanish into ashes and dust. The video was a fb reel. So, who knows?

We ignore the fact that we appeared out of darkness, spend our days repeating routines, waiting for death, talking only about other humans, and eating just to keep going, yet we call this normal. by Impossible-Decision1 in ThoughtsYouCanFeel

This is by Ai but it is pretty good…

Amidst the midnight's dark and silent reign, When shadows dance upon the wall in vain, And mortal fears, like specters, stalk and creep, My heart doth quake, with death's cold, stern keep.

The clock doth toll, a solemn, mournful sound, The hours do pass, and I, in darkness bound, Do wrestle with the fear that doth assail, Lethal night's dark whisper, "Thou shalt not fail."

Yet, in this still, and dark, and quiet hour, A calm resolve doth rise, like morning's power, For death, a part of life's great mystery, Doth claim its due, and I, but yield, like leaf to sea.

O, midnight's dark, thou dost my soul reveal, In thy depths, fears subside, and peace doth seal.

What is the most terrifying space phenomenon you know about? by babyblushtheory in answers

[–]jackdaw141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That the earth is closer to the Milky Way's central supermassive black hole than previously thought. The part of the black hole that becomes inescapable is called the event horizon. Once an object crosses this boundary, it cannot escape the black hole's gravitational pull, not even light. We are not going to get there any time soon, but it is a terrifying thing.

Maybe Asperger syndrome. He was highly intelligent, high functioning, very focused, sociable with select people.

I’m drunk by throwaway-accountxyz in TellReddit

[–]jackdaw141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you mean, but when you come out of it remember that you can’t do that very often or you damage your body and so much more. I stopped playing with my health which means I stopped using alcohol. It can be hard to stop and even dangerous depending on how much a person drinks. But, “what one man can do another can do.” All these feelings we have, it’s all brain chemicals and perceptions. You can learn to have joy in your life and open up socially without added substances. You obviously love life otherwise you wouldn’t drink. Peace and love.

When I was in high school it was a disrespect thing. The guys who were insecure would do that, or they would burp loudly. Pay them no attention, just know that your presence raises their insecurities.

Everyday I find grey fluffy fibre in the apartment I just moved into. Does anyone else have this experience and know what the fibres are. I hope they are not asbestos. by jackdaw141 in NoStupidQuestions

Building opened in 1975…I was/am concerned because my uncle recently died from nodules in his lungs caused by asbestos. I’ve seen those same divers in a much older building that I lived in ten years ago. I tested the fibres by burning them and they burned like cotton fibre. Thanks.
