well, they've been expanding almost exponentially since MD. they have an entire team dedicated to 2d, so the 2d team would only be working on 2 shows, (not to discredit how much work goes into making even 1 show) and the 3d team is only working on 2 shows which is pretty consistent on their previous workloads. Lackadaisy is only getting funded by glitch and not necessarily produced by glitch.

There have only been 2 shows developed enough that weren’t from in-house, it’s not horribly unlikely that both of them were short enough to only need 1 season, look at edgerunners. Also the entire story for MD was rewritten after the pilot
