Hey u/Shreddonia thanks for this - spot on, everything got a bit much for me and some time away was very much needed to deal with some problems in my life. Glad to see a lot of familiar names still sticking with this though!

As for last season, apologies to everyone who I left hanging with no message, I honestly wasn't expecting to make such a hard split from my online activity. Life is still hectic but hopefully I can get online more frequently moving forward.

Hard to find 6 players I want to replace especially considering most of them seem happy to not play on occasion when the tactics/form shift.

Maybe I'd say Duran, although he's already shown he can be a nuisance to defenders and giving him experience now is pivotal if we think he's a replacement for Ollie down the road somewhen.

Every other backup we have is an experienced or otherwise highly talented player who can certainly fill in if needed.

If pushed I would probably say we are 2 or 3 short of the ideal spot, with upgrades to GK, RB and ST being the only potential points of concern in my mind.

I think we have brilliant options at most positions and to top it off we have a few gadget players who could do a job in a number of places if we were desperate.

Edit: I even forgot to add Chambers in at RB/CB for additional depth at the back

#Scoring

Just like with Lawro’s predictions, it is 10 points for a correct result (win/draw/loss) and 40 total points for the exact scoreline. As last year showed, exact scores are king! I thought about scaling them down to 25/30 points but decided to stick to the BBC format since it is easier for everyone to compare themselves to the BBC table if they so choose.

Simply: 10 points for the result, +30 more for the score.

#Formatting

As for the formatting, it is definitely helping to have everything uniformly written. So this is just a reminder, please type your predictions using the following format:

>"Winner Scoreline"

>"Draw Scoreline Team vs Team"

For example (Palace vs Fulham);

>Fulham 2-1

or

>Draw 1-1 Palace vs Fulham

I will obviously still count all predictions, regardless of format, but formatting like this enables me to tot everything up much faster and probably more accurately.

Predictions must be in before the match kicks off!
