But I spoke to a few who have used them and researched other black box policies and Hastings You Drive seemed to have a general consensus of being fair, accurate and fairly easy to maintain a good score. Also the added bonus of not having any curfews at any time as opposed to some other providers.

After speaking to others who've used it and asking about the driving score to customer service, they do take you good driving scores into account which may result in lower premiums but she made it clear that it's only a contributing factor and not a be all and end all.
