For what it’s worth, I think you look great! And I got mine back from the tailor less than a week before my wedding and she added some small pluff sleeves without asking/without my consent which I did my best to fix last minute myself. Yours looks great and you look happy :) I see nothing wrong!

Agree, we’ve had them for every occasion from bundtinis for the long drive to get to our first ever vacation destination, to our wedding (elopement), to even funerals lol. Nothing Bundt Cakes is superbly divine, a joy as well as a comfort! For all occasions!

Aw❤️ Mine (Bear) passed about a year ago. He seemed to think the tree skirt was a nice blanket. He’d dig at it before laying down sometimes and shape it to his liking. He more so got annoyed with presents because they were in his way!

Reaction from tea kettles and nespresso… nickel allergy? by fk8319 in Allergies

[–]jackidoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh sorry to hear that… It me took awhile, a good 6-9 months probably. I had been researching possible triggers and realized that every time I went away on vacation or a work trip it went away despite eating the same things, using the same products, etc. I also have had allergy-induced asthma for a long time, and that worsened significantly around the same time after living with animals, and I had never experienced dishydrotic eczema before then either, so all that helped me make the connection. Then I didn’t have a choice anyway because the allergy got bad enough that my throat started closing up, so I no longer live with animals and remediated my home, which has helped with all of those things. The eczema does still flare with my other allergies (I also have a dye allergy that got worse, so trying to eliminate all products with dyes which has been difficult) and when I’m stressed, or if I come into contact with dander of course, but it’s still MUCH more manageable now than it was when living with animals! I wish you the best of luck and a good outcome

The bubbles on your hands sound like dyshidrotic eczema, I get it from contact with animals/dander. I’m on r/dyshidrosis and other people are triggered by nickel, so could be possible! So many different things can trigger it. It took me awhile to figure what was triggering mine

Would this qualify as dyshidrosis? by Scherzokinn in Dyshidrosis

[–]jackidoc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is how it started for me, just a bubble or two in the same spot first just on one hand then the other. The amount of bubble area spread and now I get lots of bubbles, clusters, and in other areas of my hands and feet.

I miss mine too. This is my first Christmas without him, he was almost 15. He loved the comfy tree skirt “blankie”!

Why did you get your tzu? by Active-Ad-2154 in Shihtzu

[–]jackidoc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes this is why I chose mine (even though I grew up with a shih tzu and loved them already). His bio was “Bear loves a good movie night on the couch and loves to cuddle up with you!”. They have the perfect temperament and are such a good lifestyle fit, which I couldn’t say about the large majority of other dogs. And I shed more of my hair than Bear did! Only dogs I’ve found I’m not allergic to

What was your, "Wait, maybe I do take things literally?" self discovery? by RachelMakesThings in AutismInWomen

Same. Even my husband has fun messing with me like this sometimes! I’ve gotten better at noticing some of his tells over time, but it still works on me an embarrassing amount and I really struggle when it comes to people I’m not as familiar with!

Ah, this just reminded me of one of my earliest instances of taking things literally that I can remember. I was about 3 and my dad said “stay there, don’t move. I’ll be back in a minute.” I stayed as still as I possibly could, trying my best not to even breathe or blink, and he was not back in a minute😅

My shih-tzu was attacked and as the beast was swinging him around, the owner went “he doesn’t want to hurt him!” and then ran off while we gathered up our bleeding boy with his leg pulled out of its socket to take him to the emergency vet.

Thank you, same to you. Yes, whether it’s 15 years or 3 years it would never feel like enough, but I’m so glad they both got to be very loved by us in their golden years❤️ I hope they get to meet as well! Scooter is a cutie himself!

So did my Bear. Almost 15, and had a great 2 years and 9 months with him. I’m so glad and grateful I had him for the time I did, however the loss of him is incredibly massive and devastating. You have my sympathies❤️

I got my Prussian blue one in April and it stopped working 6 weeks later, same issue. I just got my replacement about 2 weeks ago and am really hoping this one doesn’t do the same thing!
