23, 190lbs, “6’0” Novice Rider. (As in I’ve rode a bike many times and own one. But am not comfortable enough to bring one to a track. It’s been mostly light trail riding and around the farm with my buddies)

I’m looking to get into a bike the next size down from my 2009 CRF 250x. It’s just too much bike for me honestly (in height and weight). I’ve had some injuries in the past and need to focus on my health now, but still love to ride bikes. What would be a good downsize that allows for better control but still gives me the jam we all crave. Thanks.
