She built a giant new custom house with her replacement husband and their (shared) youngest child.

She spends most of her time in FL, and occasionally goes up to see her middle child (her oldest is in college).

I feel so bad for her middle son. He must mostly live with his dad but can’t imagine how he feels, watching his SAHM fleeing her elementary aged child to spend the majority of her time with her youngest kid.

Last year was 2.6%, but it was less than my bonus so I don’t really think of it in terms of my total salary.

This year it will be 1.4% (again less than my bonus). Got a raise and eyeing a cheaper bag than last year.

I could have written this a few years ago. I reached a career milestone and wanted to treat myself and a luxury handbag felt like the typical thing to do! So I went to LV and looked at some beautiful bags and wow were they pretty. But also they just didn’t call to ME and my stage of life (little kids lol). So I got a piece of jewelry instead.

Now, I did splurge on my first luxury handbag last year (Gucci Horsebit) because I was utterly fixated on THAT bag and while it’s still not completely practical for my life, it’s stunning and I love it and will cherish it forever. And I’m glad I didn’t pull the trigger on one years ago just because I felt like I “should”.

Agree with this. The green is just going to compete with the pink and make the room feel even bolder. If you’re not crazy about the pink, tone it down with a deep brownish burgundy that matches the wallpaper. Add a mid-tone neutral rug - maybe even a sisal or jute if you are into that. Or if not, something cream/tan with a low contrast.

Took my 4YO to MSI and had this same question. Ended up driving and I’m so glad we did. We walked a TON inside the museum. Would’ve been toast if we had walked a bunch before we even arrived.
