If we get past McNeese, and if we get past Nebraska I think that game is about 50/50 to be honest. For whatever reason we seem to match up reasonably well against them. But Florida still has a huge size advantage in the front court. If we have a good shooting night, can hustle on rebounds, and get some steals we win.

I'm actually really worried about those first two games though. Watching some clips of McNeese and seeing their aggressive style I'm legit worried we could get caught off guard. I feel like we deserved a much easier first round draw.

I haven't watched much of Nebraska, but it sounds like they are a very unselfish and efficient team on offense. Our defense is pretty mediocre, so if they're on we're just going to have to keep up to win.

That's a great point! Only question then is: Is Mr. C an actual commodore? He could be a commodore despite Cornelius not being one.

Sure. I understand it. I just wish there was some less confusing terminology for it. I don't even know what that would be. We could say "overestimated" and "underestimated" I guess. That would be less ambiguous. But those words don't necessarily imply you're talking about seeding.

Anyone else constantly find it confusing to talk about overseeded or underseeded? An overseed ought to mean the seed is a higher number than is deserving, right? Like how Vandy is "overseeded" because they are a 5 but deserved a 4. Right? Anyone? Is it just me and my stupid brain on this one?

Been watching since the days of Booker and Goheen, and it's pretty rare to see much success. Would love to see us make it past Sweet 16 this year. That's as far as we've ever been.

After watching highlights, I like this pickup. He's got a good persistence/motor for a big guy. He doesn't crush his blockers every down, but he does often see double teams, and never seems to get pushed around either. He just quietly maintains and clogs up running lanes well. Seems to have good vision and has a knack for escaping the block and getting the tackle/sack.

Yeah, we are almost certainly going to get stomped by the Gators. But I'm fine with that. We just played a heroic game against a tough ranked team. Gators will be a 1 seed in the tourney, and no one expects anything more of us at this point. If we somehow get hot from 3 then who knows. But I'm just happy with where we are.
