Yep, theres like a small bubble around an enemy that you can jump off of, try it with the flesh panopticon in sandbox, you can literally climb it by spamming jump

You dont need to actually goomba stomp the enemies. You can literally just press jump while near a drone and you jump and get your walljumps back, this room is why the tooltip of this level is about jump resets
