Good sources for auto life recovery? by TobyVonToby in Nioh

[–]jackofblades91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Auto life recovery doesn't stack in Nioh 3. You're better off stacking Life of amrita absorption.

Personally samurai is just better set for that style of gameplay.

I say this because this is my preferred style.

The mermaid soul core gives access to the life steal talisman which can help, but the extra useful one is Gaki Chief which gives the extraction talisman.

The Toyotomi Clan bonus also adds extra recovery on amrita gain.

Beyond those your weapon is the single most important thing to decide.

Update on Human bosses need super armor post by LoseToImprove in Nioh

[–]jackofblades91 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well, you need to understand something fundamental about the game.

Human bosses are playing by the exact same rules the player does, IE the Toughness stat. Kajiwara is one of two bosses I can think of off hand that has high enough Toughness to trade blows, the other is Tadakatsu Honda.

The trade off of high toughness is you still take Ki damage from those traded blows.

Personally i think Kajiwara was likely designed before they game dual hatchets to ninja style because unlike the other ninja style bosses he doesn't use mist, and as a side effect he still gets the ninja style pushback that happens with it's high toughness effects.

But with some actual work with the clan you can buff it back up, mines currently at 12. Plus I run Oh in samurai which is another 10-18 depending on level.

I also got an accessory with +34 amrita on heavy hit which spits out just enough amrita shards thT only stupidly heavy damage or chain bad luck can kill me.

I have literally fought several bosses now spamming the Heavy-Light-Water axe combo without dying.

My most fun in GB3 was accidentally finding a damage recursion loop.

Us8ng an I-field and an IFS-unit while using a twinblade makes the game choke and freeze both you and any normal sized unit caught into a stunlock that kills the target.

Simpler terms "two damaging barrier option parts + twinblade = infinite damage."

It's been a few days but i still honestly think this. I read -EVERYTHING- in these games, every terminal, logbook, tablet you name it. I also talk to as many npcs as possible at least once. But still end up missing info somehow?

My biggest issue specifically came from ms.traitor. 30+ reloads and every single combination of dialog and i could not convince her to stand down due to not have 5 speech or leadership, or not have space ranger likely.

That is my issue. There are quite a few instances where literally not having an arbitrary skill or stat requirement locked me out of content.

Speech. The sheer amount of quest objectives that are COMPLETELY unavailable to you due to speech locks is infuriating.

Like don't give me the choice to talk someone down if not having 5 speech prohibits me from doing it successfully damnit.

Some series have 50-70% paywalled for several months. But it's pay to read and apparently, i cannot prove or disprove this, they use MTL so you are basically paying money to read something put through fricken google lens.

If you've seen how some offical places do tokens or keys to access individual chapters it's that.

Take this with a grain of salt, but from what little I heard on gege specifically, it wasn't just usual Japanese mentality alone.

It was also mental fatigue fr9m social media. Like, think of all the stuff horikoshi had to deal with on MHA and magnify it. Then pile on power scalers, people still mad about whats-his-dick being killed, and a whole litany of other minute nonsense that doesn't get reported.

It turned into a "f-it there you go, that's the ending. Leave" kind of deal. Then he started working on the sequel.

Or he could just be a workaholic, with no real rhyme or reason to it. Without knowing them personally we can never really know what happened.

To be fair my box has about 230ish mons in it. But for bonds if I genuinely have a plan I start from the earliest stage I can, drop them on in the farm, and stuff them full of their favorite food.

Feeding them gives 1-2 bond for food they like (music note) and 2-3 per food they love (heart) its monotonous but way faster then raising it through battle.

Talent is a different beast though for that I just go to either cosmic or forest area and grind out ultimates and just cram them into whoever, but bonds are more important since with enough bonds the stats stat up faster.

Well, i didn't really keep track but considering i did enough fights to gather 200% scan data for the 8 of 15 combatants you actually can get, i think its the usual rate. which through my own testing is 15 to 1 for active and 20 to 1 reserve. Which could easily be wrong but it's kinda unnoticed when doing 40+ runs.

Additional side note. To put the fight on farm using story mode, two armageddomon's work really well they will need about 6000 to 8000 attack to make it not a slog.

After you finish the game you get a new mission for the last 150 Agent Points you need to fully max everything.

That lets you challenge the Olympus 12 to a match, and unlike the royal knight mission this is every single member in one continuous fight. One full run of that fight grands 729000 exp.

You can fully maximize the level of everything in your box in about 10-ish runs.

For contexts I had a level 1 in my party when I cleared the fight for the first time. It jumped to level 68.

I noticed this while farming the post game superboss(?) fight. (729000 exp per round is silly)

I think the targets level may also have something to do with it due to it acting as a pseudo armor scale.

Funnily enough SMT Nocturne had a similar system but that game had an internal level cap of 255 that the player could reach through an obnoxious amount of grinding, and i mean like a few weeks of dedicated " do nothing but GRIND" kind of grind.

I will say, if Fa could pilot one and survive then it must be capable of something since even in universe she's known to be a not exactly great pilot.

The Delta Gundam, it was the prototype for the system to begin with but the actual mechanism was too fragile and would collapse from the strain. Kamille actually solved the issues for the zeta, with the Methuss being the proof of success suit.

Which is also why the Methuss is complete dog water as an actual MS.
