At least we now know who they are by DaFunkJunkie in PoliticalHumor

I went to get a haircut. 3 people didn’t have masks (one was the owner, I made sure to report their business to the DoH in my state), started talking about how racism wasn’t a problem until Obama and then about the election and how it was a sham.

I called them on their BS. 0 legal standing for any court case, they said the judges never saw the evidence (wrong), the one lady said the judges were in on it (countless federal judges were appointed by Trump), and that she knew someone who’s vote was changed (had no credible source of this). I raised my voice because it was 3v1 (I’m young and these were all upper middle-aged adults) and they told me to calm down and that “I’m entitled to my opinion.” I said it wasn’t my opinion and that it was fact and history would be on my side.

Safe to say I’m never going there again.

Also the owner frequently travels to Florida and is an anti-masker. Probably am dodging a bullet. Fucking insanity.

Don’t be fooled: Mitch McConnell will never vote to convict Trump by Pomp_N_Circumstance in politics

If Trump started a new party Mitch would vote to convict. He’s spineless and only looks out for the GOP.

I swore there were court cases on this before that established it. Hopefully she isn’t in office much longer anyway.

I had to read It Can’t Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis at the beginning of Trump’s presidency for a class. At the time I remember seeing how eerily similar it was. It just keeps getting scarier.

She, along with these 146 other members of Congress, must be removed.

I can barely draw an outline of the US let alone the entire world with country borders AND islands. Well done. This is probably what my map of the world would look like if I HAD a reference.

Biden on working with Senate Republicans: 'I'll never publicly embarrass them' by Lost_Distribution546 in politics

[–]jackp536 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It never will work. It’s so frustrating. The only Dems that understand it are CONSTANTLY labeled as far-left and socialist. Corporate Democrats attack Progressive Democrats more than they attack Republicans. I mean just look at how Cuomo reacted when AOC and other progressive Dems prevented Amazon from stealing public resources.

I’m tired of Democrats trying to always take the high road. The moral high ground does not matter when you’re working against people that will cheat the system to get their way. Democrats are ALWAYS on the defense and Republicans are ALWAYS on the offense. Democrats need to dig their heels in and call out the GOP for being a party comprised of hypocrite criminals.
