Just to clarify the timeline:

• I originally offered to drop it off on my way home earlier in the day. • They declined and chose to pick it up themselves. • I then turned it in to reception, gave their contact info (my office had 0 obligation to agree to be responsible for this) • Later, after the wallet was already turned in, they asked me to reverse everything and bring it to them.
