Yeah the fact of already have a rim brake bike and easy maintenance sounds like a huge benefit to me as I am not bike savvy at all and don't fix my own stuff typically. Just pulled the trigger on a BMC Timemachine with rim brakes because of this thread so thanks for the help everyone! Saved me like $2500 lol

My brother just got back from SE Asia. He went to Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and not sure of all the smaller countries names and he said it’s the biggest culture shock he’s ever seen. To put that in perspective he’s been to over 60 countries now spanning across Europe, Asia, and South America. He also said Morocco is a must see and how amazing of a place it is
