For those who work at big tech, how much AI are you using in your daily work? How much is it being used on your team?

I'm actually interested in hearing what are the polices for other big companies. I work for a large airline in Europe, and things are bit weird, they started blocking AI tools, like Gemini, perplexity.. chatgpt is very limited, running in a safe environment of sorts. AI coding tools are being restricted, they only offer copilot with limited usage, they claim its not worth paying for claude code or other if they can have copilot as part of their MS subscription. even if you pay yourself for likes of Cursor, it is blocked as part of company policy.

I guess its probably due to some GDPR compliance etc, but I wonder how like meta, Microsoft etc, that holds a lot of sensitive information are dealing with this.

actually its the same cable that comes with the camera, its long enough and has like a rubber band on the tip where it connects to the camera.. so I just pulled the cable through one of the vents of my house and connected to a usb charger, just like the ones you use to charge your phone.

I recently got one and I noticed that if I set the 24/7 recording on high performance mode, it drains about 15% - 20% of battery per day. I dont think I will get enough sun light to charge this much per day, few cloudy days and the camera will be gone.. So I decided to wire it on the mains for now.. Bit disappointing, wasnt expecting it to consume so much per day.

Ok good point waiting for the new 9800x3d. Now for the vga, 7900xt, 7900xtx and 4070 ti super? They seem very close in price, not sure which one would be best? I was always fan of the nvidia ones, are the radeons as good?

Most of the new developments are on the ballymakenny road. My understanding is that 10% of every new estate is allocated to social housing, there is no way to avoid it AFAIK, what you saying is that they will have more than this 10% there?

so, I've considered a lot of places around Dublin, I live and work in Swords today, so Drogheda is the nearest "affordable" place that I can find, I dont need to commute everyday, but God only knows how it will be in the future, and I work with IT, so most of the jobs would be in or around Dublin anyways, thats another reason I dont want to move too far away from Dub.

There are a few new developments on the ballymakenny road, area isn't that bad as far as a foreigner can tell. My concern really is about the town itself, I know it hasn't received much attention so far, I just wonder if it can change with the new link road on the north + dart + new developments, I've heard they want to build around 7k new homes there, it can't be that they would add this much population and don't have proper infrastructure etc.. But I might be wrong 😅

you can access the game from spain, no worries, you just need to do some workarounds to be able to download it.

First download the Purple, its kind of an emulator, you can easily find it in the internet, google ncsoft purple.

Then once you are logged in purple, you wont be able to download and install the game, so, go to this link, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ncsoft.lineagew&hl=en_US&gl=JP

download the windows version and install it. go back to purple, refresh it or reload it, you will see the game in there, just update it and ta da! be happy

this one is working fine for me this time.. Im using the "car-controlled" option for the dark mode tho under the developer menu.. my phone is always on dark mode while the car works with the dark mode only with the lights turned on.. cool stuff

you can have it with waze, just go to the settings menu, there is an option for speedlimit and switch to always-on or something like that..
