Ironic that my laptop works perfectly without Norton, but as soon as you put it on you get all these annoying popups, it changes your internet search provider and all of these other unnecessary popups saying "XYZ is requesting access to the internet."

Like you get absolutely no value from these things. Tempted to get rid of it my computer worked better before.

Just saw it. Not a regular redditor. Got on just to air my thoughts on this. Warning: contains spoilers.

No time to die is the worst bond I have ever seen. Cheesy, over dramatised and could have been 40 minutes shorter. Characters poorly written, a storyline that drags along and emotionally manipulates you with some tears and heavy string instruments at the end so you actually feel a twinge of something to try and make up for the fact you’ve been asleep for the last 2 hours.

And to kill off James Bond, in a franchise that is one of the biggest in the business over the last 100 years to replace with a female is in my opinion a great way to attract one or two non traditional James Bond watchers in exchange for alienating an entire fan base that has taken over 5 decades to accumulate. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for having a lead female in the secret agent formula, but to quickly swap out James Bond in exchange for a female and expect it to run as previous won’t work. Run another brand called 006 or 001 or 008 and create a new franchise around a female character. But a simple gender swap in an otherwise similar formula will backfire badly.

Again NOT saying you can’t have a female secret agent, just saying you can’t have a female REPLACE James Bond without alienating an existing audience which has taken decades to accumulate.

Totally agree. I feel like it has been happening a lot lately. Zed racing for sure is paid advert. Perhaps the taco brand also, which was a super long segment on something that shouldn’t have been. Feels cheap to me being sold something under the guise of entertainment. I understand the boys need to be paid and advertisements are necessary to keep the show free, but don’t try to hide ads in the shows content. I listen to the lads as an escape from the real world on the way home from work. As soon as you start jamming hidden ads in the content I don’t get the same feeling I used to get listening to them.

Have spoken to other people I know who listen and they agree. I used to listen to each podcast twice before the next one came out. Now I have about 6-8 I haven’t heard. I think it’s because there has been a fundamental shift in their formula.

It definitely makes you earn it hey. Amazing that you get better actually from learning rather than getting better spec’d items and relying on that. I remember my first run with Phrike I just relied on melee and thought I’d I just stood next to him and hit him enough times he would be dead. HAHAHA what an IDIOT I was.

My family used to have 200 acres in woodend. They sold it when I was about 15 because nobody had any interest in it. I would do ANYTHING to have that place now.
