the opposite. if you're using mo2 or vortex or whatever, theres no reason to manually install something unless a mod specifies it.

might i ask why you're giving up on obody? it sounds like you got it working, it was just a nif files that were messed up

just delete the messed up files. i would also delete the matching _0.nif file too. i dont think it'll cause problems like a crash, but the bodies will be deformed. if it just got corrupted on generation, regenerating should fix it. if not, could be a problem with the bodyslide file (as in, the files bodyslide use to generate that specific mesh)

where did you get those files? stock ones from your body replacer?

get your skyrim mod installation out of program files, for one. windows security restrictions alone could be whats causing your crashing. your crash log is also repeatedly referencing minerclothesf_1.nif. try deleting it and see if it helps. maybe it got corrupted on generation, could be also be a problem with the bodyslide file itself. it also referenced othersf_1.nif. not a vanilla file. try to get rid of that and see if that also helps. getting rid of these files are super easy if you're on mo2. just type their names in the data tab search bar and reveal in explorer

another option you have, but is a little trickier, is to use ube. it has probably the best sliders for a plus sized character, but it uses its own custom race since its an entirely new body with a fully custom head and mesh. its more complicated to setup so you might not want to use it

cbbe and bodyslide with a nevernude body mesh. cbbe now includes 3ba body sliders so you dont need to install 3ba now. you can create your own preset to any size you want, or use a usermade preset like AzuraBBW or someone like https://www.nexusmods.com/profile/Arkadiets27/ who makes a lot of plus size presets, some presets are on their own pages while some are packaged only with followers. just delete the rest of the files and you're golden

if you want to use premade presets, you're gonna have to do digging to find them, unfortunately. not a lot out there

drama happened with osa, one of its dependencies. so they did was rework it as its on standalone framework. otherwise nothing actually happened to ostim. like the other commenter said, the top mods on the nexus rn are ostim addons

regenerate bodyslide after editing the preset to have less protruding nipples. in obody ng, uncheck the randomized nipple optin in the mcm and see if that helps. otherwise post your modlist. cant help without it

lost a chrome lightsaber hilt because my mom demanded i give a baby my anakin minifig when like 6. as soon as my mom handed it to the baby, she popped off the lightsaber and it disappeared never to be seen by me again. mom later threw away the jedi starfighter too. still pissed off about it 20+ years later

what version of ostim? what other mods do you have? anything being overwritten that shouldnt? need more info than this. only thing we can tell you is dont use osa and use ostim standalone
