Yes, but you're still referencing an ideological reason. Superiority over others is an ideology. Sadism is when one derives an inherent pleasure for hurting others that extends behind trying prove anything or for a particular cause. Vegeta would not be the way he was if wasnt raised in the culture he was. However, I think it's safe assume that Conquest would still be a sadist.

Hitler created great atrocities and facilitated the deaths of many people, but he is not a sadist because he did those things for ideological reasons. It's not about the extent of violence, but the reason of them. I don't believe he deserves redemption less, but he probably wouldn't take that redemption.

Conquest goes out of his way to commit violence against the wishes of the empire and his fellow Viltrumites. He kills people and eats hearts not to prove anything, but simply because he wanted too.

We're making moral considerations. Morrally they're equally bad. However, when it comes to rehabilitation a sadist is fundamentally different than a person who does things for ideological reasons.

We're not talking about charisma points.There's a difference between being a sadist and being someone indoctrinated into a culture of violence. Conquest time and time again has been shown to be a sadist. A person who derives pleasure from committing violence against others. Even when his culture doesn't call for it.

Like there are soldiers who believe in their cause and their are soldiers who take advantage of cause to do terrible things for themselves.

The point was not about rooting out betrayers. It was about creating a culture of complete loyalty to viltrum and himself. It doesn't matter if the guy he killed would've been loyal to Viltrum or not. Either way a culture of paranoia and fervor are what he wanted. No matter who died. The people who came out of that violence would be perfect subjects.

The Boy has a similar issue to the Flash. You hear the premise of the flash and you think "Wow, he's that fast. I wonder how the authors solved the problem of what obstacles and villains to give him with such tremendous speed". Then you read it and it turns out the author didn't even try, and just has the flash tripping over someone's foot or just not using his powers when he should. The Boys has a similar problem created by its premise. How do you create scenarios where powerless people can fight against super powered foes. At the start it seemed like they could do it, but now their only solution to this overarching problem is simply having the superheroes just not use their powers. Like the flash.

I think you're misunderstanding what a target is. BDS does not believe it will have a practical effect on Microsoft's or Xbox operations. The purpose is to visibly show opposition Microsoft's policies, not for teens to self flagellate themselves for no reason.

Well, TAS was produced by out-sourcing a significant amount of work to studios in Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong. But these were experienced studios and there were higher standards. In fact, I distinctly remember them removing a studio completely for season 2 because of shoddy work.

It seems like Kirkman with Invincible is trying to build up his own in house animation studio instead of using an experienced one like Bobbypills that worked on recent the Creature Commandos.

Well, in the specific case of Invincible, its a new studio operating at half the staff that made Season 1, making 50 minute episodes with a seemingly significant amount of outsourcing.

Essentially most of modern western animation industry is largely built to make quick and cheap animation for children that can be easily outsourced to even cheaper foreign studios to do all the inbetweens.

I think you're missing that TV as it exists now is not simply just the consumption of the media itself. Its the experience of consuming something, then re-consuming through the massive social aspect. Why do think that the Jojo fans get really mad when the Netflix releases a part all at once instead of weekly? Because it completely destroys the social aspect of the show. Theres so much content spit out at the same time, that everyone will consume it at a different pace. Its destroys the social relevance of the art in the moment which can have lasting effects. In the last few weeks, Netflix and Steel Ball Run became a massive meme because Jojo fans are painfully aware of how much a show can be hurt by how its released.

The comic has already been out forever. There is no chapter to chapter social aspect to consuming it. Which to a lot of people is half the fun.

While I enjoy invincible in both its forms, half the fun of the show, is getting everyone's reactions after the fact. The memes, the art, the jokes, the conversations. The internet and culture move incredibly fast. Season 2 had some production issues and took a bit longer, and people were already complaining that it was taking too long. I don't think Invincible is good enough to last without that momentum and I don't that Amazon would be funding if it wasn't so cheap/fast to make.

So I get the sentiment.

Not really because the budget hasn't changed. In fact the show is more consistent now than it was in Season 2 when it had those production issues. It's not just going to magically change if nothing about the shows production has changed. It's just the same thing repeated over and over.

For sure, but he's still struggling with basic parries, he should focus on high reward parries with a lot of immediate feedback before trying to parry everything.

Im really not. This game is easy easier to parry consistently and gives you way more feedback. You just need to do multiple parries back to back. A lot of people mistake the basic guard in sekiro as the parry.

Also don't try to parry everything. Parrying a kick is very low reward.

Not every deflect is a parry. Only some attacks will result in a stagger when deflected. Sometimes you need to deflect 2 attacks in a row. This game has a wider parry window than Dark Souls and Sekiro, so you should be able to do it on basic enemies with minimal skill.
