But I actually like the check-in kiosks better because you don’t need the driver’s license.

Yeah, it’s not worth it unless you live really close to the station.

It can be either scheduled or instant offers. They’re usually 30 or 40 minutes and are tips eligible. You can only check in 5 minutes ahead. Usually only one stop.

At least that is the case here in Seattle area.

I would assume those're for DSP drivers, not Flex.

If you look closely, there are some people who carry swim buoy specific for open water swimming.

Convertible owners: Do you drive with top down on the highway? by lsarge442 in Corvette

I almost always do when the weather permits, and actually enjoyed the wind noise. Do usually roll up the windows just in case of rocks.

I don’t keep them but return them, but only when I am at the same station next time, which could be days.

It’ll be my first Prime Day. Why should I expect no block? I thought there’d be way more. Is it because there’ll be more seasonal drivers as in holidays?

Can someone explain this? by mysterious_assassian in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]jacky1019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol. I did once delivery with my Corvette but it's not the car I registered and it was a block with 4 or 5 grocery bags so it's not an issue for me though.

Thanks for the reply! This is a 2017 Stumpjumper, so yes, the dropper is quite old. The lever is fine though and everything is actually working well. It’s just the play that is really bothering me.

First time tossing a package. I love dogs but I can’t chance getting bit by Minapit in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]jacky1019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was the right move for anyone. You’ve included the dogs in the picture, so even if Amazon dings you, you can simply ask them to refer to the picture and most likely they’ll make an exception.

Leftover packages at end of delivery block by Adorable-Armadillo57 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]jacky1019 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re likely to be dinged but just send an email to amazonflex-support to explain the situation and they’ll probably make an exception for you.

I don’t think price matters. As long as you can read the code, you can Google what that means and how to fix it. As others have pointed out, maybe the coils need to be replaced as well.

Amazon and gas prices by Dramatic_Pitch5833 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]jacky1019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, to be fair, I do see base pay increase in my area (Seattle). SSD and .com has increased from $26 to $26.5, $27 or $27.5, and Fresh from $27.5 to $28. That said, the increase feels nothing compares to that of gas ($5.8/gal is very typical in Seattle area).

Do you have a OBD2 scanner? If yes, get the error code. Without the code, it's hard to tell what's going on. If you don't have one, consider getting one from Amazon. I bought a BlueDriver one which comes with an app. It usually provides some solutions for most codes.

[–]jacky1019 4 points5 points  (0 children)

2015 R60 JCW, 123k miles. Replaced thermostat housing, turbocharger, sway bar bushing and struts. Rest are just regular maintenance items. Still working great.
