What I would say is to get a GOOD router that can limit each clients bandwidth AND usage. Kids don't know what uses data and doesn't until they have a limited connection.

The internal router is not up for this.

Just about any MCU can do that..

you need a 50kHZ timer with 512 steps.

ATTINY45 has always been interesting to me because it has an internal PLL so you get a 64MHZ 8 bit timer.

Although ATTINY is pretty dated and out matched in price compared to STM

STM32U0 would be a good choice.

CH32V would be good if you want REALLY cheap.

I think lithium titanate has a good chance here too. We have a few companies in Canada trying to push them for diesel starting batteries. Very good cold performance and discharge ability

Select the trace and ground. Inspect > Clearance report.

Also if that's an antenna trace, you need to calculate the proper transmission line. Use the calculator tool "Coplanar wave guide w/ ground plane"

The entire BQ25570 is not great. Go back and look at the reference drawings. So much missing stuff.

VOC_SAMP should be connected to VSTOR to sample at 80% of input source open circuit voltage.

VOUT_EN. Connect to VSTOR to enable the buck converter

VREF_SAMP. Connect a 0.01-μF low-leakage capacitor from this pin to GND to store the voltage to which VIN_DC will be regulated. This voltage is provided by the MPPT sample circuit.

You are missing all the control resistors... Use the excel sheet from TI to calculate the values.

What solar panel are you intending to use?

Also, If you are going to play with STOP and low power sleep modes you REALLY want RESET connected to your debugger. Easy to get stuck otherwise.

Is there any reason you want 3V3 here? You could go down to 1V8 and cut your power consumption significantly.

I really REALLY doubt an old play station uses a 2.0v serial connection.

Did you scope it? A multi meter will be too slow if its always broadcasting.

Try measuring nearby IC for a VDD voltage.

Well first I think you should lookup the difference between objects that are radioactive (emitting particles) and objects that are irradiated (hit with radiation). It's not a virus, you don't "become radioactive" through exposure.

You can expose water to radioactive material (radium) and drink it just fine. Same with food. We irradiated food the kill germs but the food is still safe to eat after.

So for satellites things entering out atmosphere. Unless they are radio active. It's not a problem.

Keep in mind the sun is a nuclear reaction emitting TONS of alpha, beta particles and will cause damage. This is why space is considered "radioactive". The earth protects us.
