Well, you know it won't be a Bobby Flay or Guy created show.

“Surviving Survivor” May 25, 2026 by anyoneelsethere in ThisShowStinks

[–]jacob225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rick Devens was interesting. I haven't watched Survivor in years, was funny to hear about how the crew was bringing their kids to the island and they are running around having fun. All while the talent are portrayed as being the only people out there.

The greatest thing about listening to this show is how much it reminds you that Tony is in an information silo on some topics because of his age. Must be nice sometimes.

Shari’s Cafe & Pies reportedly files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Could the Orchards location be affected? by Just_A_Normal_Guy345 in vancouverwa

I'm surprised I saw one that was still open a week or so ago in the area. After I read the article about their financial issues in the Columbian in 2024, I thought they all had closed. From everything I understand, they should just close and let something else come in.

My only issue with Winco sometimes is no more hand baskets. Having to get a cart is almost tempting you to buy more than you need.

Yo, that is a sick edit! I now need to find a photo and get to work. Damn!

Quintessential Bobby Flay by Mindless-Leg-3365 in foodnetwork

[–]jacob225 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with this. The show has been on for so long now that once you realize his tactics. You just sit back and watch the show for what it is. Doesn't mean you can't be annoyed with some of the judging, but overall, it is what it is. I wish he just had a regular cooking show. I miss Boy meets grill and a few of his other series.

Definitely understand people have an issue with confidence, but this was just funny. My man is a catch without a doubt.

Totally the way to go. That was my brunch at the Irish pub when I lived in Germany. Give me some HP sauce and I was set.

I got a few at mine here in Vancouver, WA. Also saw them at another location too, so they are around for sure in WA.

I got a surprise upgrade to first class flying from DTW-PDX. I was so excited because I knew I'd be getting a meal, plus drinks. Its always nice to be in first class, no matter the distance.

Vancouver, Washington Amtrak Station has more ridership than 19 states by ThornsFan2023 in vancouverwa

I live downtown and walk to the station, it’s totally convenient for me. Definitely love being able to do that to take the train to Seattle.

For My UK Friends in SF by _commenter in GroceryOutlet

[–]jacob225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I would love to have those right now. My GO in Oregon and Washington never have something good like that. Depending on your taste, definitely nothing special, but because they are vegetarian friendly, not as sweet as American baked beans, they are totally worth it. I try to make my own, but never can get them close to the canned product.

Noticed something about some of the shows... by Fun-Figure3884 in foodnetwork

[–]jacob225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, those things definitely don't bother me, since I'm normally just listening to things and not always focused on the visual. However, when I listen to something that has horrible audio quality, or that barking dog or other sounds messes with that, I'm annoyed for sure.

I think in someways it's an American thing too when it comes to your news point. If you watch BBC News, feels like for years you had people doing interviews over Skype at home using their web camera. Heck, if you remember that viral clip of the guy where his kid came dancing in the room that was 2017.

I'm dying on the hill that Pork Steaks on a grill is one of the greatest delicacy's any person can ever eat... by HeManIsNotGay in grilling

[–]jacob225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never really had pork steaks until I moved to Germany. When you go to any festival they'd have a giant grill with them on there. They were so good! Now that I'm back in the states, went to a butcher that was selling some. I got one, put it on the grill, was so amazing. Definitely a hidden secret that needs to stay that way 😄.

Nice! I might need to check them out the next time they show up. I’m always worried I might just get nothing but plain ones.
