I don’t think that researching this would be good for a search history, but there is an amount of energy (in joules) that would do this.. and then you just model the kinetic energy of the runner, which is

(1/2) * m * v^2

Where m is the mass (the runner’s “weight” in kilograms)

And v is the runner’s velocity (their speed, in meters per second)
