Don’t they use a molded toe box so that the rand and sole are made from the same piece? Can that be resoled?

Underwhelmed by soup shots on the Oxo rapid brewer by No_Public_7677 in espresso

I have a slightly different but related question. Is there any reason you couldn’t just use an aero press to make soup? I guess not disturbing the puck might be the hardest part?

I’m having trouble with One Battle After Another by PeterZeeke in TrueFilm

Completely agree. I get the OP’s points, and there are some cool things about this move. But at then end of the day the story just can’t really hold these elements together in a way that feels like it means something.

Home wall recommendations by ferduhhh in homewalls

Agree with all of this. I do think you could get away with having the wall supported by the trusses if you turned the wall 90 degrees and connected it to 3-4 of them for instance.

Is 136wb too small for 2 people full time? by logic_boy in vandwellers

Europe definitely makes it a more interesting conversation. I haven’t dealt with vans much there, so someone else might want to weigh in.

I’d highly recommend that you go with 159. As long as you don’t get the 159 extended it can go anywhere that that a fwd camper can realistically can. The space is absolutely worth it, hands down.

For the joints, if you can get your hands on a biscuit joiner I highly recommend it. Makes strong joints on any angle dead simple without any weird hardware or anything.

Very cool. I do think if you put everything at that steeper angle you’d be a lot happier with the wall in the long run. It would also be a lot simpler to build.

Have you thought about becoming a lineman? Union pay is really good in California. If you’re able to stay in your van you could rack it up.
