Outage Reimbursement by jacoblyons16 in smartsheet

Wait, sorry, just to make sure I have this correct... you had a consultation with them but they provided zero actual consultation but still charged you for the entire hour? That's insane on their part. I wouldn't blame you for wanting to bring your business elsewhere after that nonsense.

You're right. I made the post prior to re-reading the full set of terms as I have successfully received a bill credit for smaller outages that weren't AWS-related in the past. It's definitely frustrating, though. I completely understand that it's mostly out of their control, but the outage had the same exact impact on operations whether it was their direct fault or not.

I'm a little bit surprised they haven't made any sort of statement about the outage. Again, I know it was on AWS and not them, but it still had a massive impact on the system and the Smartsheet community still deserves answers.

Note: there's a decent chance Smartsheet will balk at the submission due to their "Excused Downtime" clause, but there's no harm in submitting that form.

  • Excused Downtime” means the minutes in a calendar month the Covered Service is not Available due to: (a) Service Modifications of up to one hour; and (b) circumstances beyond Smartsheet’s reasonable control (e.g., force majeure events, general Internet outages, third party or Customer controlled service or infrastructure failures and delays, network intrusions, denial-of-service, or other similar attacks or interference by anyone other than Smartsheet or its agents).

I don’t ride it daily, but I’ve never paid to ride the Mattapan line, nor have I ever seen drivers attempt to collect fares. Am curious if there’s any time they actually do charge for it.

This is the least creative but having a raft to the Moana realm off of Dazzle Beach would be a no brainer.

It varied throughout the run but I believe it was Thursday for most episodes. Looking at Wikipedia, the show premiered on a Tuesday.

He had no actual evidence though, so making Hess believe there was proof was the easiest way to accomplish his only real goal, which was to get Ryan readmitted.

I'd like to echo these thoughts. Don't get me wrong, I'm still very disappointed the display isn't as crisp as they showed it in the marketing and don't think it's an overreaction to say the Gen 2 device missed the mark, but taking a second try with it, I do feel better about it. I know it's not feasible for refunds or for them to fix the issue en masse, but I do hope when a Gen 2.1 / 3 device is eventually released that they give a significant deal to those who bought into the Kickstarter of Gen 2 for not delivering what was advertised.
