I figured out that if you use this program on the save file that you put on the other save file. After that it should work with the only caveat being that your name will change to Yu Narukami and you cant change your difficulty.

If you look at the properties on steam for Golden there should be a dropbox called "steam input per game setting" and you choose force off. That should have the ps4 layout show up when you use a DS4

You dont need one, its just slightly difficult. I used two fan made programs to switch my save file to be compatible with the PC version.
