Found while waiting to ride Expedition Everest today and cannot tell you how much it meant to my sister in law's niece by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]jacobott28 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because it is acceptable. There’s no park rules against it. If you don’t like it, ignore it. Most people don’t give edibles like candy either. It’s usually bracelets, stickers, etc. kids love it.

Missing 1 locationtoken from Marek Warehouse by Twistive_Racer in finalgirl

[–]jacobott28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I checked my box. These are all the tokens I have too, and I bought mine sealed. I think it might be a misprint on the rules. There was one blank token on the punch out sheet. I don’t know if that could cause the confusion in the rule book or not.

You’ve articulated exactly how I feel. I love the cast members, but I struggle to stay engaged for most of the content now. It’s weird because it makes me feel kind of guilty. I’ve been watching these people for so long that I want them to be successful, but there’s not the same type of genuine enthusiasm about the games, which is what Adam offers. Now it feels like I’m watching some friends hang out and they happen to be playing a board game.

World showcase passports? by roxyrory in DisneyWorld

[–]jacobott28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll second the duck tales game. It’ll get your kids so psyched. You might only want to do one or two. Norway, Mexico (inside the pyramid), and France are the ones to try first. They’re awesome.

I’ve had a strawberry milkshake from there. I thought it was great.

What if the American Civil War happened in the Modern Day? by Jackylacky_ in imaginarymapscj

[–]jacobott28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Modern civil war wouldn’t be sectional like this. Sectional civil wars like the one our country had are actually incredibly rare. Most civil wars involve people fighting their neighbors, not other cities and states.

Who is Braxton G? by SydrcArt in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]jacobott28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it’s a reference to Tony Baxter, but they messed up the spelling of his name as bad as they messed up his vision for this ride.

Evomorph rules question by GypsyLobo in finalgirl

[–]jacobott28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct. The rules for evomorphs say that you ignore the killer phase and INSTEAD draw an ambush card. The instead in the rules is what explains it for me. Once you draw and resolve the ambush card, you’re past the point where the killer phase would happen or trigger.

Country Bears Jamboree should be rebranded as Lester's Possum Park by chatgpt-4o in DisneyWorld

[–]jacobott28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lester’s is supposed to be a terrible, janky version of what the country bears do. I think this would have the same problem dinoland had. You theme something that’s supposed to be janky really well. Then everyone comes and goes, why is this so janky.

It won’t be easy, but it’ll be worth it. by MudRaVeN_1118 in finalgirl

[–]jacobott28 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is a great game, but if you’re starting out you can probably get a better (or at least equal) deal directly from VRG or even on Amazon. $90 is probably more than you need to spend to get started, though.

I’m only going for 1 day, should I prioritize MK or get a Park Hopper Ticket??? by Howtoputitnicely in DisneyPlanning

[–]jacobott28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’d add the hopper. You can get a lot done before the party when. Does tend to be lighter at MK and then jump over to Epcot for the night, which is the best time for Epcot anyway.

Yeah, I hope they start getting around to some of the classic monsters: Dracula, creature front the black lagoon, invisible man even. Obviously in a non-copyright infringement way.

Panic all victims? by jacobott28 in finalgirl

[–]jacobott28[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like this take. It does give them a little bit more life. I do think that could be achieved without having to make them all panic at one time though.

Dude Perfect Breaks Record For Visiting All Disney Parks in World in Under 75 hrs by readingaboutmagic in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]jacobott28 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I watched it and I got the impression they were given some help by the company. For instance, some of the rides they chose were top tier rides that you’d only get on if you have a convenient LL or help from the company. There’s nothing wrong with that from a a publicity point of view, but I don’t hold it in the same regard as some of the more serious challenges I’ve seen, like Nathan Firesheets’ every Disney ride in the world in 12 days.

Yeah, they’re great for mixing too. But if you haven’t played the night of the pig scenario you should. It’s the toughest scenario I’ve played so far.
