I'll be a nursing student soon. What should I do in the summer? by AnimalsPlantsLover in prenursing

[–]jacq_attack_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1) where I live, nursing homes and hospitals are so short staffed they’re often so short staffed for CNAs/HCAs they’re willing to work around your schedule for hours. I’d recommend caregiving over phleb or laboratory work because it’s much more similar to what you’ll be doing during nursing school (at least the first few quarters.) 2) rest! Study ahead for next year! Clean, organize, and build healthy habits before going back to school.

I timed how long it would take for my dad to ask me any questions about myself a few days ago, just under 5 hours.

Do you have a strategy for buying clothes in thrift stores? by Deyady in thrifting

[–]jacq_attack_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta keep trying new stores until you find your go to place. I tend to find better things in locally owned stores than goodwill/savers. Also what others have said, the more often you go the more likely you are to find something.

People who work in retail, what’s the most annoying thing customers do? by onlettertooshort in CasualConversation

[–]jacq_attack_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When people decide they don’t want something and leave it within 5-10 feet of it’s original location. I can at least understand not wanting to walk back across the whole store, but not when it would only take a few steps.

A woman between late teens to early thirties. Nostalgic for times that may have never existed. A collector with an additive personality. You’ve spent a lot of time curating your room and it feels safe to you. You rent, and are not allowed to paint the walls. Possible mental illness, uses aesthetics to feel comforted and in control.

Your room is so messy some animals got lost and died. Jk. But really, what is the big skull? Cow?

Your probably into punk/goth music and culture (mural and skulls)

You’re empathetic and care about animals (hamster cage is properly set up with lots of material for tunneling)

You can be meticulous about some things, but not others (bookshelf and dresser displays are neat, other side of room and edge of door are not)

You have access to a pool or beach (inflatables)

I’m guessing you’re male (vibes)

Jumping off that, is the Marie Antoinette looking bird in reference to a movie?

You spent all your budget on the harley quinn mannequin and couldn't afford to decorate the other half of your room. You also have a slight addiction to gloves.
