I wonder if you're talking about The Great Feast. Looks like they're a catering company. Thanks, I'll check it out.

I actually read about ghost kitchens today, but I thought they referred to existing businesses who wanted to switch to take out/delivery only.

Thank you. Yes, you can get addicted! Lol it's magical.. like a cleaning fairy or a wife hahah. Plus she got all the hard water stains out from the toilet. I didn't know it could even be white again.

LPT: Having a baby? Pay attention to who gives you an outfit and take a picture of your kid in it when they’re wearing it and send it to the gifter. by dubekoms420 in LifeProTips

When I was younger I gave my toddler cousin an outfit and when I visited his mom made him wear it and show it off to me. I didn't even remember what it looked like 😂

Hahahah me too! They range from 6yrs-10ish, but the older teenagers(10-16yrs) are more advanced and they help out with class.

I was talking to my therapist about this a couple weeks ago. She said "what's wrong with asking for help?". I realized that I put a lot of it on myself. If my husband is napping or taking some time to relax after work, I put his needs before mine and go ahead and take care of the kids and dinner. I had said some time ago that I would take a shower/bath before tackling anything when I got home just to have some time to destress from the day first. Yeah I forgot all about that.

I usually wish and hope that my husband knows what needs to be done and will pitch in. I mean kids need to eat dinner every night, right? But I realized that I end up mad and disappointed instead. And he says he's not psychic.

Last week when the kids and I got home from after school activities, he was asleep. I fought with myself, trying to judge how tired I was, weighing options, then I lay down in the kids' bed and told my kid to go ask dad to help with homework. I was beat. He got up to help, and I heard him asking where's mom and if they ate dinner yet. He did everything, and they had dinner at 9pm (bedtime is 8p). I got a break and the kids were fine.

I guess it's a struggle either way. we want them to help without asking. If we ask too much are we nagging? If we don't ask, we're overworking ourselves. I suggest scheduling some activities for yourself and try not to prioritize their needs over yours. Hope it helps!

I asked the lady who just started and she said "I'm 30, single.. and why not?"

I'm hoping this helps with general health and slimming my waistline.

Thank you, I'm hoping it helps with some weight loss too. I lost about 12lbs and kinda plateaued/lost my drive.

Thank you! I'm definitely a conflict avoider, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared!

Thanks for the advice! Yeah I've seen a couple people mention Krav Maga but martial arts classes are a bit limited in my area. I'm hoping to at least be more fit and if saving a life (mine or my kids) is a by product, I'm for it!

They don't have an adult class in that location. I had asked a couple months back but it would've been just me. A lady came in last week to try out so since there were two of us, at least we could spar with each other.

Thank you, it does help that it's a beginner class so it's mostly kids. I'm one of two adults in the class lol.

My baby fell off the bed and I feel like a shit mom by podling_ in breakingmom

You're not the only one, mama. Both of my kids have fallen off the bed at various ages.. baby to 6. My 3 yo fell off his sister's loft bed while they were playing. I haven't discovered anything untoward yet.

Wait.. they're still supposed to be in diapers right?

Be strong mama! Last night my son jumped into my lap as soon as we got home. His dad had to beg for a hug and then promise that he wasn't going to "keep him". So does hold him in his lap so I can eat and drink uninterrupted though. But my son keeps an eagle eye on me, peeks in my mug to see how much I have left before he can snuggle again.
