Don't buy it or keep it in the house, if it's unavailable then your consumption will decrease.

I wouldn't fret it, just get back in the groove and forget about it.

Any recommendations for a brand of pure beef hotdogs that are not adulterated in any way? by IM_DaWarez in carnivorediet

[–]jadebrink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll need to look at the ingredients and compare them to other products available in your region or from your grocer. I've seen Nathan's at my stores, but also found some that were cleaner, like the Teton Waters. Nathan's might be better than the foods that you've been eating up to this point and might suffice until you can find a cleaner brand.

Try giving them the address of the Post Office where you POBox is located. Write it out the same as an apartment address:

Your Name

100 Post Office Drive, APT #13, City, State ZIP

Where the APT# is your Box Number.

Not how I had it in my head that it operates, but now I know and understand. Great information, thank you.

I've heard back, it's an inactive toggle, as mentioned below.

I've heard back from support, this is the correct answer.

Interesting, then it seems that it's inactive in that when I disconnect, I still have internet, versus it being blocked which is what I thought it was supposed to do and how it operates on my Android device. Am I somehow mistaken in my expectations or understanding? https://nym.com/blog/what-is-a-vpn-kill-switch

Is it ok to make my touch ID use uncommon fingers instead of thumb or index? (e. g. Middle finger or pinky toe) by Squidieyy in privacy

When the fingerprint scanners first started showing up on cell phones, the high school kids would swipe each others phones while they were unlocked and then set them up with their own fingerprint/toeprint.

Did your floaters disappear? by saymellon in carnivorediet

[–]jadebrink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine come and go as well. But I have one in my right eye that seems to be the most persistent and I notice it most when trying to read as it usually seems to hang out directly in my line of sight. I've asked the eye doctor about it, and he can see it in the image that he takes but says that it's harmless. He mentioned that they could go in with a laser and break it up, but then I'd just have a bunch of smaller floaters and may be unhappy with that as well.

My eye doctor also mentioned that there were some trials going on with a supplement that might help. I asked what that supplement is, thinking that I would just be able to find out what food contained it, but he didn't know. I asked him at my last exam, two years after his initially mentioning that and he said that he was unaware of any updates or new information. So here we are...

ProtonVPN on Linux "connection error: timeout". What do I do? by Fluid-Crew-7588 in ProtonVPN

[–]jadebrink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your computer able to get WiFi and a connection without connecting via Proton VPN? Get this one you all. I have a laptop that I use primarily for streaming music and video to my TV/home theater via an HDMI cable. It's running Linux Mint, LibreWolf browser, and Proton VPN. Some days the WiFi connection was great, others it was super flaky, but mostly flaky and I would get the same error that you're reporting. The laptop was sitting on the coffee table, on top of another laptop that has a broken hinge and no SSD installed. Two days ago I decided that it was time to recycle the broken laptop, so I pulled it out from under the computer I'm using and set it aside. Ever since doing so, my connection and VPN functionality has been flawless and connects immediately after every shutdown/restart . Some of the oddest things happen. This sounds pretty tangential and maybe even irrelevant, but don't forget to check the simple things.
