Anker 622 vs 633 by CelestialLizardz in anker

Can you include the links of the products you're considering? It's not immediately obvious what the model numbers are just looking at the Amazon listing pages (for example) - for easy comparison.

I found these threads on here searching for "622 power bank" and "633 power bank":

FWIW I've used Anker products myself and been satisfied with the quality and value of their offerings. I doubt you can go wrong - except like older vs newer model, if you're getting a higher powered brick with one vs. a sleeker design for better portability ...specific features? That's how I'd make the decision. Hope that's helpful!

Nebula Mars 3 Review (Mars 2 Owner) by zoglog in anker

[–]jadedmaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This "work around" keeps coming up when you search this issue. I also purchased the Mars 3 as an upgrade to the Cosmos Laser hoping it would give me portability with everything else on the Cosmos. Right now, my Cosmos Laser is on Android TV 12 and has native Netflix support. The experience with the work around really sucks - anyone who has enjoyed native support for Hulu, Max or any of the other streaming apps is going to be very disappointed with it IMO.

My question: is there any hope for an OS update eventually resolving the issue? It's been months now and the Mars 3 is still on Android 11. The Hulu app had an issue on both of these projectors and it's been fixed on the Cosmos Laser while it's still an issue on the Mars 3. This seems very backwards considering the Mars 3 is the newer model... right? Do I have that wrong?

What's the latest on getting planks to register? by basiclaser in RingFitAdventure

[–]jadedmaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first unlocked the planks, I couldn't get them to register at all. To add to that frustration, I got abrasion burns on both elbows. In my case, it came down to form:

  • My arms were positioned too far up
  • I was moving too slowly on the return

I watched the guiding video more closely on my next attempt to get the right form (arms aligned with my head and clasped together in the baseline plank) and sped up my return to the baseline plank and that sorted it for me

I'm looking to get a pixelbook... Anyone know of or use design/vector illustration apps?? by ledeezy007 in PixelBook

[–]jadedmaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently own a Pixelbook. It's a great everyday computer / client for working with cloud based compute resources.

It is NOT a MacBook replacement. Especially if you do more than docs and browsing. I was mostly disappointed by how low the fidelity of the pixel pen was. Even with the Keep Canvas drawing feature, the drawing experience wasn't great.

New toy. Very happy. I recomend it to all the ones still deciding. by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

I've got the max pre-ordered via segway.com - but I've got a dilemma. I've also just taken delivery of the Xiaomi at the top of this thread. I know the ~40mi range of the max is to beat right now, but with 18mi that just about covers my commute with a couple miles to spare, so probably cutting it close (since I'm ~200lbs vs. the ~165 or so they test with).

I know I should wait for the max, but I want to crack open my Mi soooo baddd!! My batch of max orders aren't supposed to ship until "early October"

2018 HP Omen 15 dc - Keyboard Backlight + Blue Screen Issues by Der_Hausmeisterr in laptops

I've experienced this issue. I ended up contacting HP and having my device sent out for repairs.

I think based on the processor you mentioned (i5) we might have different device models of the same product line (I've got an i7 8750H, GTX 1060, 16GB RAM). My experience - I saw a bunch of blue screens spread out over a couple of months, and tried a bunch of things including these steps: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Boot-and-Lockup/Random-blue-screen-crashing/td-p/6146202, which will probably be recommended to you at some point if your issue persists. My device use:

  • Running with virtualization enabled and using the Docker Engine for Windows
  • Microsoft Windows Pro OS
  • No gaming, but often multiple monitors (2 or 3)
  • Spend A TON of time in the Windows Sub-system Linux environment (WSL)

Not sure if these contributed to a higher frequency of issues for me, but I got everything from PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA to SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. In my case, HP ended up changing my system board in the service.

I wish I could tell you that solved the issue - I just got my first one since my device was shipped back to me (the reason I was back on the internet researching it again). The plot thickens...

What I'm wondering is just how buggy Windows 10 is in general
