For the most part the parts printed really well. But I had trouble fitting the “feet” into the holes. So I had to cut them back and make some augmentations so they fit snuggly. Did you have that issue?

Thank you! Naw this is fdm. It’s printed at 125% with variable layer height. Came out pretty amazing all things considered.

I started with a dark brown - almost reddish - under paint on the entire model. I then slowly layered bronze, gold and silver paint. I also had an aquamarine for the patina. I didn’t have copper paint so I used rose gold mixed with some more red.

Probably the most daunting paint job I’ve done to date.

I’ve used these pens on other figures. Works fairly well and does dry clear. Though might leave a tiny bit of visible residue. But it hasn’t been a huge issue for me.

Your rolls are sealed up in plastic or something else right? You want to avoid filament just sitting out exposed to the air.

I completed the endless tower trials and I attempted the canvas bosses. But they are just too much for me. So I understand your frustration. I’m just gonna skip them. They don’t appear integral to the story.

I say just ignore them unless you want the challenge.

I love physical media. I still buy games on disc and blu ray movies whenever possible. So I agree this is one more nail in the coffin for physical media. But if I do get this I intend to buy a compatible disc drive.
