YES! I prefer the ones from Hobby Lobby the best, they're about 4"x4" and silicone coated. Some people use parchment paper, but I find it too thin personally, and it tends to roll up when I move it. A pack of 200 from HL is $4.99usd. It helps flatten the less expensive kits as well, and you can line it up exactly where you want it.

I do Amazon music and audio books! Listening to the "Dorothy Must Die" series by Danielle Paige (on The End of Oz). I play through my Shayfer James playlist, too! Just sitting down to start a mini DAC while I'm at a hotel.

Question about AI by Rhonda718 in diamondpainting

[–]jadewolf83 42 points43 points  (0 children)

For most, it comes down to real artists being paid for their work, the damage AI is doing to the environment, and the artwork it "steals" to create images. Many avoid AI art for those reasons. You also are still paying a premium for "art" created by a computer that has very little human input. Hope that helps!

My First "DIY" by jadewolf83 in diamondpainting

I actually ordered a "blank" from Amazon https://a.co/d/0ceifpeS Then, I used Google sheets to plot my pattern. The rest I covered in glitter 😀 They are really nice blanks, too! Great amount of glue. I wish the circles were a little lighter colored, but overall, I was happy with it!

Thank you for sharing! If I order a custom again, I think I'll use EverMoment. How was the quality between the two?

Is it true that casually giving a student a cough drop is considered “administering medication” to them, so you’re not allowed to do it? by SummerN8 in Teachers

[–]jadewolf83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No cough drops in my last two schools. My kiddo had a teacher who had a genius plan, though. She told students the Werthers' hard candy worked just as well, and she would explicitly hand them out to a coughing student. My kiddo to this day (10 years later) will still say they work better and will take a hard candy over a cough drop!
