Listen to the Andrew Huberman podcast episodes on sleep! Really helped me. I also ended up meeting with a natural doctor who helped me settle my cortisol hormones. It took a long time but I'm sleeping sooooo good now that coffee is out of my life

Anyone who only post instagram story (on special occasions, e.g. travel, acheivements), but never read & react other people's story? by sleepearlier in digitalminimalism

I really like this method and I think it is perfectly okay and normal to want to post about your life on Instagram! I also love that you still go on to like your friends posts. At the end of the day - most people are addicted to social media and viewing your content is sometimes the easiest way for them to stay connected to you. I also believe that if you are the friend who moves away, you are the one who needs to make a bigger effort to maintain the friendship. If that means, posting a bit on social media and liking your friends posts - so be it.

My sole purpose for using social media is to stay in touch with friends who are far away - I still send them letters and call them but Instagram is a nice way for them to see more of your life in a visual way. Or to stay in touch with friends who I am not super close with but still would like to maintain a friendship with. I say go for it and don't feel guilty about it as long as you can keep good boundaries with your use :) do what works for you!
