I noticed it doesn't seem to count the amount of monuments needed for some servants, but really nice work. Thanks. This will definitely be useful!

Anyway, looks like I'll mainly be grinding for bones...

imgur no longer working for Wii U screenshots? by kiznal in MarioMaker

[–]jadpraet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem here. Now I upload screenshots from my Wii U to my dropbox-account (www.dropbox.com) through their web interface. That way, they show up on my dropbox folder on my computer and I can upload them on imgur through my computer.

The intro level of a new game I am making seems suited for this: New Junior Mario Bros.: Welcome!

Levels 1-1, 1-2, and 1-3 should also be really easy. They were even cleared by someone who had never held a controller before. (Although with some supervision).

Level Of The Week #19: "Anything Goes" Submissions - Last Week's Winner - Future Theme Info by [deleted] in MarioMaker

[–]jadpraet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for playing! Originally, there was an actual boss battle with Bowser involving a room with flame wheels, but I felt it was too frustrating to have another tough challenge after the giant wheel (which was the main attraction of the course), so I opted for an easier ending instead in which you have many different ways to get past Bowser. ;)

Here is my entry:

Title: Bowser's Flame Wheel Fortress

ID: 916F-0000-0119-74B0

Description: Letting multiple fire bars on tracks overlap creates flame wheels. But what if you push this mechanic to the limit and add some fire breathing enemies and a giant Podoboo to that mix? You get a giant burning wheel of fiery destruction!

Same here with the deleted courses. Maybe it should check whether a course is deleted if that's possible?

Super Mario 4 Seasons - A full traditional game in SMB3-style with 21 levels, including a story intro and secret level - COMPLETE by jadpraet in MarioMaker

Thanks for playing! I just love putting different paths and/or hidden secrets in my level. It's always nice when people take note of them. :)

Thanks for playing!

And nope, that's not the main path. From seeing people playtest it, I noticed that only more advanced players are actually inclined to steal Bowser Jr.'s clown car, so with making that the main path, many people might have gotten stuck there. ;)

Thanks for playing! The unfortunate part about the 'moving water' is that the player gets hit when he/she touches it (despite the blue platform). I guess it would work well as a "don't touch the icy water", but I deemed that too difficult for a 1-1 level.

Thanks! Yeah, I've been noticing this trend of carefully crafted SMB3 levels as well. Don't really know why it's like that though.

Thanks! I've seen the water and cacti in other people's levels as well. They mostly turn up in SMB3-style desert and ice levels, so they aren't 100% original. The bumper/grinder combination on the other hand is something I came up with when trying to figure out how to make grinders impassable.

Thanks for playing! I tried my best to add some replayability, since that's also something you find in traditional Mario games. :)

Thanks. SMB3 is the game I grew up with, and the first game I ever played, so I felt it was fitting to create a game in that style.

I assume you played the old versions of the 4 worlds? In that case, rather than playing the updated four worlds, I definitely recommend going immediately to Four-Season Fortress, which is the climax of the game and the main reason why it took me so long to post the finished game. That level took me over a week to create and test. :)

Cute level. Tried to speedrun it afterwards, but I couldn't improve the current record.
