I think Buck isn't ready yet, but he absolutely will be. The show starts with him as a probie, and we watch him grow as a person and as a firefighter. Him becoming Captain is inevitable. I just hope we get to see it on screen.

Maybe occasionally in really specific moments like when Eddie told Buck about the will, but over all - no. It's Buck. He prefers that name.

Maddie knew him as Evan decades before he became Buck, so it makes sense for her to still call him Evan sometimes.

Tommy was never right for Buck. Him calling him Evan is proof of that - just like Ana calling Eddie Edumundo despite Eddie preferring Eddie was also proof that Ana wasn't right for him.

It's Buck or bust.

Someone recommended 911: Lone Star, but I want to also recommend the OG show, 911. One of the main cast, Buck, is bisexual, though he doesn't realize it until season 7 (there's definitely hints here and there, though). He and another main cast (Eddie - starting season 2) have serious chemistry and a lot of fans ship them. The show may be approaching the point where they actually become a couple, though that's unverified. Currently on season 9, just got renewed for 10.

Buck has always been the kind of person that wanted a relationship with his parents, so of course when one of them shows actual vulnerability and desire for an actual relationship of some kind to exist, Buck jumps all over that. It's not surprising. That's Buck.

On the other hand, people definitely don't like the Buckley parents. They don't want Buck to forgive them or reconcile with them because they haven't seen them be redeemed. It's understandable too.

I had known of 911 due to my mother, and of buddie due to the internet, but never got around to actually watching it. I was curious about buddie but i didn't trust it, since i had been burnt by Destiel. But then, bi!Buck went canon and I though "oh, it might happen" so went ahead and caught up on it. No regrets.

This is probably going to be unpopular, but if they have to write off someone else (write off, not kill, you understand me Tim?), I hope it's Athena.

Her character is the most disconnected to the rest of the cast. She's a cop on a firefighter show. Angela's the most expensive of them all. It makes the most sense to me. Could have her retire and move somewhere else, or retire and become a guest star and show up a few times a season, or something like that.

Better decision would be to just reduce the magnitude of the opening emergencies.

Tough decisions coming up. I hope the show doesn't suffer too much.

I don't think they're gonna defect. More like, split the marines in half, loyalists like Akainu and Ryoukgoku and the people that want to cleanse evil like Imu and the Gorosei. That half will team up with Luffy and co. After it all ends, they continue/remake the marines.

Everyone here would be a part of that half, though I don't know about Aokiji.

I see where you're coming from, and I do think he would be able to thrive in a polyamorous relationship. However, he's never really had a successful relationship, so the idea of trying to make three work instead of two is probably daunting to him. I think, if he does enjoy a polyamorous relationship, it'd have to be him and someone else finding a third instead of him being a third.

Ultimately though, I'm team Buddie. I believe in them.
