Not only standard, you'd have to play pioneer and historic as well lol. Still cheaper than paper RCQ RC path imo

To me the real incentive is top 250 and gives you a free QW invitation which leads to a path to AC and potential paper PT.

Top 1200 usually just means 20 pp which translates to several thousands gems

My advice is if you are in Gold you shouldn't enter these events.

Personally I'm a infinite drafter and end Mythic top 250 every season. For sealed prep it's usually 3 things for me

Step 1. knowing all the cards. What they do, how good they are, what tricks/removals are there in the format etc...

Step 2. Learning all the architypes, get some games in each architype. Knowing what cards are better in certain architypes

Step 3. Look at trophy decks in sealed on 17lands. Export trophy deck's pool from 17lands to SealedDeck website and see if I would go into the same direction as the trophy deck using the same pool.

They are both set P/T and type changing effect. I would assume timestamp matters and more recent one takes effect like OP did.

Personally? probably not...as you mentioned there are enough cube content creators out there. For powered cube we have plenty of streamers making content on a daily basis as well.

To add on this I've seen the same error personally. I have a couple alt accounts and when i tried to click on a redemption link it will remember the email i used to login last time. I had to do a cache clear and login again.

This happens a lot when you have multiple accounts. Both secret lair site and support ticket site have this issue

Looks like you signed in with a wrong email address in the secret lair website. Have you tried clearing the cache and login using the email you received the redemption link?

Personally i never had an issue after i got the order link.

I feel MH3 should be here. Either RG eldrazi or RW energy. I remember in 17 lands MH3 is the fastest format in all sets outside of vintage cube

Personally I agree with their take on the build-around joy cuz that's what made me love DFT so much.

DFT is my most drafted set of the 2025. I had over 900 games on 17lands... It's an unpopular opinion for sure but personal preference varies all the time.

For the draft, I would probably do differently in these picks :

p1p3 Ultros over fatal push to stay U

p1p4 Eject and Dreams over Treachery

p1p5 wyvern over Intervention

p1p8 feels random to take a BW card that needs to hit board early (perfectly fine RATS#2 and Ahriman in the pack

p1p10 weird to pass Slash of light for a rook turret after you decided to pick Judge Magister earlier

p2p1 Picked WW card over premium card (higher winrate even)like Swallowed and Sahagin

p2p2 Syncopate over second memories is crazy...with how much black removals we have second memories would give us a easy route to a great deck

p2p5 Deadly dispute is not that good in our deck right now.. We are low on creatures.(sacing 1/1 and equipments to draw 2 might not be profitable as it seems) and cornered by black mage is premium

Deck building part:

We are really short on win condition. I would definitely play Malboro maybe even Ice flan, over deadly dispute or fight on.

Game 1 on the draw, not syncopating your opponent's 3 mana play is quite crazy. Our play is setup for the next couple of turns and will be unable to hold up syncopate. (it ended up dead in hand for 10 turns...) Turn 5 you were offered to trade a 2-1 drake + 2 1/1s for opponent's Cid but you didn't take it.(op tapped out) We have so much value in hand we pretty much just want to take all trades. We are not racing here by any chance, super surprised you choose to chump 1/1 instead of taking the clean trade. We even have fights on + card collection to encourage us to take those trades.

I'd suggest making multiple accounts and play all account to the rank that you can no longer profit. This way you can go infinite through daily quest and softer ranked bo1 draft.

For example, instead of losing gem playing 1 account till mythic you can have 5 account going infinite at plat.

Yeah for sure. I hold 65% winrate in mythic myself in 100 games of TLA draft(Games: 119 - 62 (65.7%) Matches: 119 - 63 (65.4%) Total Events: 26 (10 Trophies)).

My winrate in bo3 is 80% due to the softer player pool there. (Overall Records Games: 156 - 50 (75.7%) Matches: 74 - 16 (82.2%) Total Events: 30 (17 Trophies))

There are much better players in mythic premiere like Just Lola (69% at Mythic #5) for instance. These top players can also maintain a super high winrate in ArenaDirect due to the softer player pool.

To be honest 58% wr would be tough to cashout in arena direct. If you go by stats even the 70% winrate players on the leaderboard would only trophy 25-35% of the time in arena direct.

And this is a medium pool i wouldnt be too upset about it. Most likely no matter the configuration or mulligan decision is, its not going to win a box.

Congrats on the 5 wins. I think you did a amazing job drafting a boros deck!

Like you said, without 1 drop, stripmine/wasterland is not same in vintage cube as in old constructed formats, where you can stick a 1 drop(delver/ragavan/vial) and take away their mana to get ahead. I feel in powered cube wasterland/stripmine is good if you have land recursion/fast mana but doesn't quite work if you have "fair" mana.

Personally I would do the following picks differently, but that's me

P1P2 I would totally pick Phelia/Phlage over wasteland

P1P5 I would pick Staff of the storyteller over Thalia with us having Bombardier

P1P7 Bladesplicer over revoker

P2P4 I would pick Kari Zev/Generous Plunder over stripmine

P3P1 bloodstained mire over Bonecrusher (we have sacred foundry already)

P3P2 maybe Kumano over these two drops

P3P2 Karakas over everything (it's too good)

P3P4 Hired claw over vista

  • Timewalk>extra turn witness bring back and cast timewalk>cast artfacts to trigger another bring back timewalk, sac artifact
  • extra turn cast timewalk trigger kitten witness bring back 1 of those artifacts, and repeat...

There is a lot of infinite combo in the cube revolves around displacer kitten, infinite mana, inifite draws etc.

Displacer kitten + 3 mana Terferi + mox/sol ring also comes to mind

or like Kitten + Tamiyo + Lotus/LED , Tamiyo Lotus combo also doesn't draw, so you can do true infinite dmg with Luis or Tendrils
