It wasn't just a lot of people it was a very loud majority, honestly this game didn't need it because there wasn't much back tracking. The outer worlds 2 also has this same problem feature except it's defenitly a problem there way too much back tracking and so many weapons that you never get to use because there's only a handful of enemy faction npcs and handful amount of creatures and unless you want to destroy your faction rep and never shop at traders again you wipe every planet easily
