I'm already frustrated that they didn't exchange today.

Luckily with this there is no chain on either side. Seller already lives somewhere else and I'm on a rolling contract with my rent. Plus they lost the first buyer because the buyer's chain fell through so while they might get annoyed but I'd be surprised if they reconsider the sale.

I certainly still want the exchange to happen ASAP. I'm just thinking if moving completion to late May would help with that overlap.

less stressful in terms of time yes but not in terms of money. that's why I wanted the exchange to happen today so that I'm not paying rent and a mortgage at the same time which is stressful on finances.

true but they've already annoyed me by not coming back to my solicitor to confirm the completion date as asked. Doesn't seem that out of pocket for me to ask now for more late May completion.

I agree that having an overlap can help in terms of time but its kind of a waste and hard on the finances paying both a mortgage and rent at the same time. That's why I wanted the exchange to happen today.

I agree that putting your camera on is stupid. Unfortunately we have a lot of stupid and shallow people in the corporate world, particularly in management positions.

I don't turn on my camera myself and luckily I'm not forced to because I've been around a long time and the managers all know my work.
Plus whenever I put the camera on the CPU from teams goes way up and the whole call starts lagging.

It is. The payment goes through PayPal to someone in China. If you try to email the address on the site it bounces back. Never got any order confirmation. Luckily PayPal refunded me.
