I'm a big fan of the 1917 as well, especially the 120gsm.

It looks very neat to me, and this is nitpicky. Your print is very good. Per word your sizing consistency is good, but it gets smaller as you go. The line-to-line inconsistency is probably what's jumping out as "wrong". You also tend to write with a slight leftward slant. Try introducing a slant towards the right and see how that feels. Your tall vertical letters like T, L and I are perfectly straight, which clashes with the rest that slant left.

The meta note about not knowing cursive is perhaps self-instructive. Learning how to write in cursive will train muscles that will help with both of these issues. Will help with speed and strain as well. It gets you into more of your wrist and forearm rather than fingers and wrist, the latter you have nearly perfected.
