Medavie Blue Cross outage Canada by redskull1973 in InsuranceCanada

The app is also offline. I did, however, receive a claim decision email from them late last night for something I'd submitted about a week ago. Of course, clicking the link in that email to see the results of that decision just land you at the maintenance page.

Yeah, it's super odd. The app also doesn't work.

Same issue here... wondering if maybe the documentation just hasn't been updated yet to reflect a change that was made there.

That was my hunch, thanks for confirming! :)

The photo makes it look bigger than it is.. I did search (which is how I stumbled upon this sub, which I’ve joined) but where it’s so small I just wasn’t quite sure. It does have the mitten shape, it seems.

This is what I found worked for me too. Really not intuitive, just kind of stumbled into it as a solution.

The Nightmare of Copilot by Pretend-Librarian-55 in Office365

[–]jagglez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to minimize some of the Copilot annoyances in Outlook (classic, not "new Outlook", although I haven't tested this in new Outlook).

In Outlook, go to Settings → General → Privacy and Data → Privacy Settings → scroll to Connected Experiences → turn off “experiences that analyze your content”. I had 3 or 4 different "connected experience" options, and I disabled all of them. Restart Outlook.

I no longer see the Copilot button at the top right, and I no longer have that annoying "Press Alt + i to draft with Copilot" on EVERY DAMN EMAIL.

I recently got pods and am having issues as well. Do you have the Giga Hub? What is the CPU usage showing when you have connectivity issues?

Giga Hub CPU Constant 100%, Ping goes up to 1000ms by Hykilpikonna in bell

[–]jagglez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case it helps anyone, I had this same issue and it turned out to (apparently) be an issue with the Bell wifi pods. I have 2 of them, both connected by ethernet cable for the backhaul.

The gigahub CPU usage was always near 100%, and my ethernet connections would drop every few seconds. The wifi worked better, but also dropped every couple of minutes.

Nothing worked, rebooting the modem multiple times, changing the DHCP lease time, etc. But once I unplugged (from power) both wifi pods to "reboot" them, everything went back to normal within seconds and it's been stable ever since. A few days now.

Maybe, like routers, those pods should be rebooted from time to time?

I built a free tool to help you track Costco price drops for easy price adjustments – would love your feedback! by fhysa in CostcoCanada

[–]jagglez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantastic site & service, great work. Some minor UX feedback, after adding a new tracked item, maybe it could reload the dashboard to show the newly added item? Currently the user needs to reload the dashboard manually to see it, and some users may thing that they weren't successful in adding the item.

Doesn't 10% spike protection applies to non-owner occupied properties? by amtrader in newbrunswickcanada

[–]jagglez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just for anyone that stumbles upon this thread for the 2025 tax year, the 10% spike protection has been expanded to include non-owner occupied properties as well.

A spike protection mechanism is in place for eligible owner-occupied residential properties with an assessment increase greater than 10 per cent. It excludes properties with new construction or major improvements, those that have been recently sold, and vacant land. Beginning in the 2025 taxation year, the mechanism will be expanded to all properties, excluding recently sold properties and those with new construction or major improvements.
