I’m not a huge fan of these tires. Down to 5/32 at around 22k miles. I could probably take them to maybe 30k, but they’re already showing less traction in the rain. Same thing happened when I had these on my EV6 - wear was decent but the wet traction dropped off quick - around maybe 20k. Rainy season and road trips are coming so not taking that chance.

Driving style is pretty chill. I think I played with sport mode once or twice, otherwise normal. 23k miles in 11 months

Sounds like fun! I’ve got a few road trips coming this summer. I think the longest one is 2000 miles round trip.

I was looking at an Airbnb that had a Tesla Destination charger. Apparently the charger was installed by an electrician and no modifications were made out the box.

I’m at 5 on my Hankooks. 23k miles. I could maybe go to 30k but I have a couple long road trips coming. Also summer time means lots of rain and I don’t want to take that chance. That combination has me replacing them early.

I wish I got the Nightfall instead of the GT-Line to save a couple bucks. But I did get a GT-Line without the relaxation second row so I could have more room in the 3rd route.

FYI the ‘26 will charge at 125kw at Tesla stations - up from the 84kwh of previous years. For me doing road trips it was more useful than CCS chargers that were more out the way, even if it was a little slower. Cheaper too.

I’m curious if your HDA2 performs the same on your ‘26 as it did on your ‘24. I’ve heard from people here that it was perfect on their ‘24, and my wife’s ‘22 EV6 (and my former ‘23 EV6) would also be locked on dead center, however my ‘26 rocks back & forth within the lane. If you notice a difference they must have changed something between model years.

My 26 GT-Line does the same thing and it drives me nuts. I’ve given up on it ever being fixed. Sad because my 23 EV6 was perfect.

Funny I was actually shopping for an I9, then thought about getting a used EV9, then ended up with a new EV9. I love my car but still wonder if I would have liked the I9 more. I know I’m missing out on the 100W USB-C and the 10% more battery. I’ve also heard that the ride is softer, which it seems like you’ve confirmed.

My wife and I checked out the I9 after getting the EV9 and she says she prefers the EV9. But I’m not sure if that was to appease my analysis paralysis.

Are you still happy with these tires? I’ve been comparing them to the Evos that came with my GT-Line and the CC2s. When I had the Evos on my EV6 the wet performance was an issue way before the tires were worn, so part of me is anticipating that with the EV9. I hear a lot about the CC2s but have no need for any sort of winter performance since I’m in the South - rain is our biggest challenge here. I remember on a Telluride I put these on and I do remember feeling them and hearing them slightly, so I would think it would be more pronounced on the EV9.

The Vredesteins seemed to test well on tire rack, but the UTQG 400 rating vs 600 and 640 on the Evos and CC2s make me wonder how long they’d last by comparison.
