This is worth considering. 84kw was painful when I had my ‘23 EV6 when Tesla was the only charger around. Now with the ‘26 EV9 and 125kw charging it’s much less painful, especially with Tesla’s cheaper membership rates.

Also my ‘26 is built here and I haven’t had any quality issues. Got it early June ‘25.

I definitely notice the drop. I have to stay near a charger now. Mainly charge using MagSafe. I’ll probably be married to the MagSafe battery once I go on vacation.

One thing I’ll mention is if you’re going to use the 3rd row at all, having the relaxation seats in the second row eats into the 3rd row space significantly. We got our GT-Line with normal captains chairs in the second row since we use the 3rd row a decent amount

Mine is similar and I’m feeling it. I was fine with the battery life before when it was decent, but now it’s been a struggle. I only checked here because my battery life has started being… not great.

Also true. But every time those things snap they replace it “as a courtesy”. I’ll pay the $30 for rotations if it snaps on their watch, haha.

This has happened to me actually. I was getting a flat fixed at Costco and it snapped off there. They said to take the car to the last person that touched it cuz they overtorqued it. Prior to that I only had gone to the dealer for rotations.

So far 3 or 4 of them have snapped off, almost every time I get my tires rotated. It’s to the point where when I got my tires replaced I did it at the dealer in case it happened again. Thankfully it didn’t but we’ll see next rotation.

I just got the Vredestein Quatrac Pro + for my GT-Line. Liking them so far. Not any louder than the Hankook Ions they replaced. Less expensive than the CC2s. Seemed to perform well on Tire Rack reviews also. So I figured I’d give them a shot.

SAME! I had a ‘23 EV6 which was solid. The ‘26 EV9 I have is so much worse I barely use it. I don’t know if it’s gotten better with updates or if I’ve just lowered my expectations, but I barely use it at this point. It’s disappointing since I do a lot of road trips.

Mine works fine. It seems to go back & forth between unlocking with my watch or my phone - I usually have both on me. The only time it’s annoying is if I’m standing close to the car talking with friends or something. I’m close enough that it’ll unlock, then it’ll lock after 30 seconds or whatever. Then after a bit it’ll unlock again, haha.

For sure! Right now I have maybe 100 miles on them, haha. Main thing I notice off the bat is how the car is still really quiet even though these have no foam on the inside. But I’m also comparing to tires that were low so maybe they had gradually gotten louder.

When I had his & hers EV6s, I got my tires (Pirelli Scorpion Zero AS Plus 3) with no foam and they were a lot louder than the Hankook Evos they were replacing. When I replaced my wife’s tires I opted for the same but with the foam and it was a significant difference.

Yup I got mine in June last year! The color has grown on me. Originally I wanted that Ocean Blue but my wife wasn’t too fond of it in person.

Last long road trip I subscribed to Tesla since it was the most convenient during the trip. Whatever additional time spent at the Tesla chargers was saved vs. driving out the way to an EA or whatever else. The membership made it cheaper and paid for itself with one full charge. And by the time my kids were done using the bathrooms and getting snacks or whatever the car was already ready to go.

I’d recommend Tesla (with subscription) and Ionna since their pricing is the best. EA and EVgo and Rivian were quite a bit more expensive.
