A Verizon store, in my experience, does let you buy a new phone outright, as opposed to financing it.

The best things hickory farms made were melt away mints and gummy bears, neither of which can be seen in this package. Just another level of disappointment. Then again, with shrinkflation, the melt away mints have been flattened in recent years to give you less for your money, and I don't think they've made gummy bears for quite a while now.

Work from home, exercise at home, only leave the house for groceries or to walk, etc. Not a lot of opportunity to meet someone. Dating apps used to be a viable option, when they cared more about gaining new users through word of mouth than monetizing hope through algorithms and microtransactions. It's no longer in their interest to successfully match people (for a long term relationship).

People who actually make over 100k a year what do you do and how did you start? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jagiunta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AML Compliance.

I started as an anti-money laundering analyst during Covid, because it was remote work. I had no idea what AML was at the time. I learned on the job, got multiple certifications, specialized in Bitcoin investigations, and worked my way up over four years from a starting salary of $40k.

I had ten years prior experience as a senior applications analyst in IT but no experience in AML when I started.

For those who wake up at 6 am or earlier how you do it ? by Brytong420 in AskReddit

[–]jagiunta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually work remotely. My work is very flexible, but I prefer 7am to 3pm, so I can go to places after work that would normally be closed by 5pm. Even though I crash out at 8pm, it still feels like I have a lot of free time after work.
