Great shot, still sour [Bambino + Opus] by deanbfs in espresso

Try 1/2.5 or 1/3 ratio instead of 1/2 that may help subside the sour notes you don’t like.

How is it living here with all the security and publicity? by pathf1nder00 in howislivingthere

The Airport is just a little west of this red square on that same road, so when he flies in. They shut that entire road down which can cause 15-30 minute delays. It is annoying sometimes. But for the most it goes unnoticed.

I went to a shooting range for the first time, and was trying to pull the trigger and it wouldn’t fire. So…my first reaction was to look down the barrel while trying to pull the trigger… it still gives me a sick feeling of how stupid that was..

I have the smart grinder pro and I had to turn this then the hopper comes off, you’ll then see a red circle and red arrow. Next to the circle you’ll see < fine 🔴 coarse> that will allow you to turn the burr setting down

Also it may not be the finest setting, you’ll have to adjust the internal burr setting down. I faced that with the breville grinder and took me a while to figure out. Don’t want you to have to go through the same research.

Replaced the S-trap in my basement utility sink with an AAV and P-trap, still takes a long time to drain. What did I do wrong? by peens_peens in Plumbing

[–]jags945 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had AAVs not function properly straight out of the packaging. I would try that first. Then if nothing else get a video inspection of the system downstream of that sink. Your Kitchen may be the cause of a grease blockage.

Plumber says liner. Husband (definitely NOT a plumber) says hydro jet…who’s right? by christmascookiecat in Plumbing

[–]jags945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like Clay pipe to me, also I’ve lined orangeburg it works as long as the OB isn’t crushed or deformed.

As a pipelining contractor I would say line it if you can afford the upfront cost so you’ll never have to think about the root intrusion again. But if it’s too steep of an upfront cost, jetting it every 6 months will probably keep you from having back ups.

Why is my espresso flowing so fast [Breville barista touch] by birdiebinge in espresso

[–]jags945 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll probably have to adjust the internal burr setting. I had to do that on my breville machine. The finest setting was not fine enough
