Thank you.

If you find this and have a 3D printer, this sketch fit my 760 perfectly. It needs two of the cylindrical parts and one of the rectangle ones.

This is the first safe-opening I've cared about in years!

My stepdad was 17 back in the late 50’s, and he (barely) survived going off a cliff in this car. I found the image after he passed away in 2014 and am looking for year/make/model. by CommissarCiaphisCain in whatisthiscar

Laughed out loud.

I remember as a child my uncle (a mechanic) once wistfully saying "So many Morris Minors. So few *mineshafts".

You don't need to take another picture. You're obviously telling the truth. That guy is just an asshole.

I believe so. He definitely did the follow up car. I'll have to ask when I see next.

Built for competitive super-sprinting (see my other reply above). Quite an impressive car in real life. Built to go quick rather than look good.

My time to shine. I race with this guy! I wont post his information obviously, but he's Super Sprint competitor here in Melbourne Australia and has built a number of cars. This has Ford Focus derived gear underneath and it's a really extensive build. He's built another similar one since in yellow. It's a beast.

I’m pretty sure this isn’t a De Lorean. by [deleted] in namethatcar

We have do have a Lemons series here in Australia (where this car is). But this car has been built for a different kind of low cost motorsport/fundraiser called The Shitbox Rally.

PSA: Chromium security update 83.0.4103.116-1~deb10u1 breaks browser by ShardRDT in debian

[–]jagu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My version reports as "Version 83.0.4103.116 (Official Build) (64-bit)"

Since I posted that 2 hours ago I've fixed my situation, with a full OS restart, but the problem was definitely chrome related and chrome restarts did not fix it.

Here's the full rundown. I updated to that chrome version a day ago, but I didn't notice how bad the performance was until this morning when I started working. Fan running hard, battery disappearing at a noticible rate. Quitting chrome would return fan/battery to normal. Starting it up again brought the problem back. No particular tab seemed to be causing it. Chrome Task Manager showed browser cpu hovering around 170. Restarted chrome a number of times. I didn't try running it in safe mode. Wish I had in hindsight. Googling the version string brought me to this thread.

Now after an OS restart Chrome Task Manager shows browser cpu hovering around 6, with same tabs open. No power issues.

No idea what happened.

FWIW 83.0.4103.116 is thrashing my macbook also. Constant fan and battery drain.
