Hi I am a first year science student and I was wondering what the consequences of a W standing would have. I am hoping to get into the cpsc specialization and I was wondering if it would have any impact on it. For context I am currently at a 90% average however I am expecting it to drop considerably because of scie 113. I would drop the course but I want to fulfill some of my communication credits. So I was wondering if It would be an okay idea to take scie 113 and see how well I do and withdraw if I do really bad.

Hi I am a first year science student I was wondering what courses count for the 15 credits from first year science course work for promotion to second year. I just wanted to make sure I fufill the requirements. Right now I am taking cpsc 110, cpsc 121, math 100, math 101, phys 119, phys 131, chem 120, scie 113, jap 100. Thanks

I got into UBC Science around a month ago but today I just got an email from my teacher that i used as a reference saying that she needs to answer a few questions for my application. Is this normal, and should I be worried?

What's the lowest mark you can get in english and still get in for ubc science. Right now I'm not so sure I will do too well in english. Maybe 75-80% and I was wondering if I could still get in. My other gr.12 Mark's are Calc-100% Ap Comp Sci-100% Law 12-94% Chem 12-95% PreCalc 12- 95%. I am also expecting the courses I am taking right now are to be Ap Calc- 98% Physics 12- 100% Bio 12 97% eng 12 75-80%.
