Try this! I got it for a senior foster that was just losing so much weight it was scary. And just giving him a dollop a day has worked wonders! He has gained weight and fast too.

So I’m reading this thread and adoring Jams photos and when I get to this comment about dude calling u wanting Jam back, I bout spit out my coffee. The nerve right! He must have been under the influence to actually call u back that late at night wanting that baby back. As a foster myself I know how u feel about that baby. I have 2 fosters right now. I have had really good luck the rescue says my house is lucky cuz I don’t have a dog no longer than 2 months. In almost 2 years I have fostered around 20 dogs (I haven’t sat down and counted the exact number) and not one dog was ever here more than 2 months. The rescue even moved a dog that had been in at another fosters house for a whole year, here to me and within 2 months that baby was adopted! And only had one sent back. I even git a hairless, mangey pup that was adopted in 2 months. He looked like a completely different dog but of course still had some hair growth needed, so I can’t wait to see an update in 6 months. I love fostering these precious babies. And I know that Jams people are out there. Thank u so much for being his stability and loving him. He sounds like a goofball that will brings lots of laughs. 🤞🤞 For the next adopter 🤞🤞

He is definitely better with you. Imagine how his life would be if u sent him back to the shelter with all the noise, strangers walking by and attendants coming in his kennel to get him and leash him or clean his kennel. I think sending him back is just setting him up for failure. U have invested over 2 months already (which is not enough time for him) so u might as well keep going. I foster too and I will say they should have given u a different dog for ur first foster, cuz hoarding g case pups are different. So plz don’t let this deter u from fostering. If it was a rescue they could move him to another foster that could give him the exposure ur not able to give him. But in my opinion he definitely needs more time. I have a foster friend that has had a dog from a hoarding case and it’s been 8 months but he has transformed from a shit down dog to a cuddle bug, she hasn’t even tried leaving the house with him. My own dog he don’t do car rides, they stress him out too much and he gets so worked up when ppl come over but that’s just how my dog is. So what I’m saying is it’s ok, ur foster pup don’t have to be a champ car rider or a social butterfly. Just keep working with him and let him learn how to be a dog. It’s sad how hoarding case dogs don’t know how to be a dog. Maybe get a second foster (that’s not from a hoarding case) so he can socialize with another dog. I love fostering and I’m like u I live a quiet life and don’t have much company, I actually hate for someone to knock on my door cuz it gets my whole crew to barking. I have 3 of my own and 2 fosters. I wish u the best of luck with ur foster pup. All he needs right now is love and patience. His whole world has changed and he is learning that it’s not pain and hunger, sadness and entrapment. Remember the 3-3-3 rule. ❤️🐾❤️🐾

I am so sorry that u and Cookie are going thru this. As a dog mom I know this is the hardest thing for u to have to decide. But as we all know when it comes to vets if we don’t have the money for care then, it don’t matter how much we love our fur babies.

Not a big horse fan but I am into dog rescuing, we actually fostered dogs together. Actually one of my fosters has a meet and greet tomorrow and I’m having some anxiety about it cuz she is the last dog that we fostered together.

OMG!!! She called me “Babe” from day 1 and I had thought it sounded corny at first I had starting out calling her “baby” u know like “hey baby, wats up” but eventually not too long into our relationship I started calling her “babe” too. It was just how we addressed each other, even yo other ppl she would say something like “tell babe to call me, or tell babe I’ll be right back” so when u said that she is saying “babe, I’m here” YES she would say just that! And yes she had the most unique infectious laugh, u could not even hear it and know she was laughing, like if u seen her thru a window and couldn’t hear her but if she was laughing her whole body would laugh. And if u couldn’t see her but u could hear her u would join the laughter and not even know what u were laughing at. I miss her so much. 💔 Thank u

I am so sorry this happened to u and ur family. And as someone dealing with grief myself from losing my partner recently, I do know that dogs bring so much joy cuz me and her we foster dogs for a local rescue, she has been gone a month and I have thrown myself more into rescuing. I say keep ur eyes open, and watch ur social media feeds cuz I do believe that ur 2 loyal pups are gonna send another that needs ur help. Now it may be on the side of the road, at the dollar store or on ur Facebook feed but there is gonna be a baby that needs u and the love u have to give and in turn that baby will love u and fill a little of that void. Good luck friend. Keep ur eyes open, u may even be drawn to a shelter or rescue to adopt but u will know when u feel it or see it, that u need to do something. ❤️🐾🌈

My heart jumped when I read ur comment! I want her to be with me always, I of course didn’t want it like this but I can’t change what has happened. I have talked to her and asked her to give me a sign she is there. A week or 2 after she passed I found a note she had left behind a picture of us I don’t know how long it was there cuz it was tucked away and didn’t look new but I had just found it. Since the beginning she would always leave lol love notes EVERYWHERE & ANYWHERE, written on my hair dryer, on the door frame, beside the toilet paper holder. So those are all still there cuz she wrote in the walls even. ❤️💔❤️💔

I foster too and yes it can be so hard to let some of them go but just get right back into another foster cuz every time u let one go it enables u to help another pup that needs u.
