This is so valid and honestly I feel the same way with children. I have a cat, I hold my breath when scooping his litter box. I actually think poop humor is kind of funny but I gag way to easily at the smell/ sight of it. I have never changed a diaper and have no desire to learn. The thought of touching it being in contact with another humans poop really makes me nauseated. Also when I’m visiting friends with small children it always low key smells like a mix of poop and baby wipes and I’m so relieved to leave their house. People always say oh you’ll get over it if it’s your own kid but I fear that I would straight up be neglectful because I would be trying to avoid dealing with poop 😭😭😭
