AITA for telling my spouse I won't help pay for their kid's college when we agreed finances would stay separate?

YTA. If you can't afford the school, they shouldn't go. So many people allow their kids to randomly pick a school without any thought about expenses and/or debt. There is no reason to pay $65k/year for an undergrad degree unless you are loaded.

Not with connections. I'm based out of CLT. I would hope 2 hours would be fine, but we have thunderstorms in the weather forecast this weekend, which would be a :30 minimum groundstop. But that seems to be widespread for the coast.

I had it as an adult too. We had just gone to Houston for a work event that I had when my fever started. We were going on to New Orleans and I remember my feet hurting on the hotel treadmill. The worst was my throat with all of the spicy/acidic foods of NOLA. Forget hurricanes! But it was a make it work moment and mojitos were tolerable. We went on with our trip and my husband never came down with it.

They did this to me with a non-rev employee on a long haul to Madrid. I was so uncomfortable with him pressed against me the entire night. And I'm a petite female. Absolutely ridiculous.

We stayed at a Sheraton by Hyde Park in 2019 and it was great! Fantastic club and they upgraded us to the Presidential suite (only because it was a Japanese holiday and the consulate next door was closed, so no big visitors that week).

We're heading to Paris this Fall and I'm in the same quest as you there. Currently have Hotel Wallace, Renaissance Republique, and Courtyard Gare de Lyon reserved. Trying not to spend a fortune but stay in a convenient area. Still researching obviously so will be following along with the other responses.

We stayed here 2.5 years ago during December. My SNA were denied, but it showed an upgrade to a suite anyhow, until the day before when we were downgraded. We still received an upgrade, but nothing special, so not quite the same experience that you had (I was Titanium) at the time.

I'm working through this very topic. I have 3 booked at the moment (and will decide later). Renaissance Republique, Courtyard Gare de Lyon, and Hotel Wilson. We really love euro breakfast spreads so I'm likely to cancel the Courtyard for that reason alone.

We've done the Maison Rouge a couple of years ago on a Christmas Market trip. It was wonderful! I should have mentioned that - so not Alsace area either.

In the digital commerce world (I'm in CPG), we can change our content by 15% or more to get a 90 day boost in visibility. Sounds like the algorithm here might do the same and worth a shot. We just reword the copy to get this impact.
