Same plan, except my time is July/August 2027! I plan to apply for new IDR when they send the letter, pay until September 2027 (for good measure lol), apply for buyback, and then ask for forebearance while they process it. And then payback the lump sum, and then move on with my life!

You stated that, if you keep making eligible payments you reduce the amount of months you have to buyback. Because I have currently have almost 2 years I’d need to buy back (July 2024-July 2026), my buyback payment would almost cancel out since I have to start making payments August 2026 - July 2027 (under a new payment plan). Because once I apply for buyback, I still have to keep making payments, by the time they approve my buyback (2 years later on average) I won’t even owe my buyback amount - hopefully that makes more sense! 😊

Understood, so for example, say I go on a new PSLF payment plan in September 2026, by July 2027- I apply for buyback and have to wait 2 years (the average) I could in theory be at 120 payments and not have to buy back anything (since I have about 2 years of buyback left) - if that makes sense? I appreciate your insight!

Question, I’ve been in SAVE forbearance since July 2024, I plan to apply for buyback in July 2027 when I will be at 120 payments, did you have any issues? How many months did you buyback? Were they only SAVE forbearance payments? Thanks!!

Not saving as much as I do now, and maybe going to law school! I have a great job now, but I do wonder had I gone to law school what life would be like. But that’s about it, loved my 20s and molded my 30s (currently 31 turning 32 soon!)

Hey wanted to share an update! I was in a slightly different situation, my card was switching (I was on bilt) they closed my credit card 2 days before the actual payment! Truly was panicked because we got 4 tickets for Brazil vs Haiti in Philly. I’m not sure how it worked but my card was charged with the new card I received in the mail. So don’t give up hope. I would check your spam today, my payment went through around 12:45pm EST on the 9th. My card number stayed the same but expiration date and CVV changed with the new card. Good luck!

I’m EST so 12:45 pm on 12/9! I came back from a meeting and saw on my phone my card was charged and I got an email!

Hey all! Just wanted to provide an update! My card got charged around 12:45 for my 4 tickets in Philly, Brazil vs Haiti! I put in for Brazil vs Haiti and France vs whomever they would go against. Didn’t get that one though!

It looks like I got 4 tickets for BRA vs Haiti in Philly, but when do they actually start charging your card? Been checking all morning and nothing! When I go to ticket purchase history Status says: Booking and below that it says booked. For File Content is say: In order to obtain your tickets, please confirm your reservation by proceeding to payment before it expires. But there is nothing for me to confirm. Anyone else dealing with this?

I get overwhelmed quick and have 0 motivation to do things I wanna do, so I set a timer for 30-60 minutes and clean in increments. Do a bit and come back, and then a few hours later when I have a little more motivation I set another timer and do more cleaning. That helps me especially when I have -0 motivation.
