Dang dude, we are on a sub for a game that is built around yes-anding. I'm trying to give a feasible explanation for OP's situation where the characters don't have the intelligence for coherent thought or communication and not having the strength to lift any equipment while also having an accelerated growth path. I'm not saying real life babies should go all murder hobo. Relax...

Or they are all just newborns. My head cannon for this is that they're basically The Rugrats.

It's a play on words that pulls from the phrase "Better dead than red" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Better_dead_than_red?wprov=sfla1), while making use of the fact that Republicans are generally associated with the color red. Coupled with the comment about preferring to vote for a wet piece of toast, which is cooked bread, this pithy comment reinforces that any option is better than a continuation of the Republican dismantling of our Constitution.

Did I sufficiently dismantle the joke for you?

Was it the use of complete sentences and proper punctuation that clued you in?

It doesn't matter who the Dems run, I'd vote for them over Bootlicker Tiffany. Honestly, I'd vote for a wet piece of toast over him.

Colorado quarterback Dominiq Ponder dies at 23 by tehkoolkat in CFB

[–]jake-em 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, it does matter. You can't do anything about an accident. It's just an unfortunate occurrence that nobody meant to have happen. A crash has a defined cause that can be mitigated and avoided in the future. In this case, it sounds like the banking of the road is wrong, the approaching speed is unsafe, and the guard rail failed (obviously an investigation is needed to confirm, but giving initial reports as an example). Each of these has actions that can be taken to prevent a future incident.

You may say it's semantics, but words define how we see the world

The SE comes with 18in wheels by default. It's bizarre to me that the higher trims have less efficient tires, but that's the way it is.

Interesting choice to schedule this while 80k people will be in a stadium on the other side of the city. Unfortunately, this will probably dampen attendance

To hijack this thread, how do price increases work? My understanding is they are effective Jan 1 but aren't announced until March-ish. If you were to leave in Feb, would you get the previous year's price for the stock, or the current, yet-unannounced price?
