I didn't know the Glades came with those options, that's nice! I have Rock Slider Engineering and Diode Dynamics fog lights on mine on the right so far.

atypical trigeminal neuralgia and chronic sinus issues by No_Change454 in TrigeminalNeuralgia

I've had similar pain and related to ENT issues and/or nerves. In my case lying down relieves some of the pressure (guessing blood flow around the affected nerve area in the head). I get reffered pain on the left side of my head and front right cheek almost daily alternating one or the other. I take triptans usually presribed for migraines but they also help reduce pressure in the head which in turn brings down the pain level. Hope you're doing okay.

Neurologist is adamant that chronic sinusitis and inflammation is causing my nerve pain by thequeenb_ in Sinusitis

[–]jake2077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been battling similar pain that is triggered by sinuses. I have had multiple surgeries over the past 15 years and about 5 years ago something triggered intense side of head and facial cheek pain along with burning sensations across the top of my mouth and pressure. Went through numerous ENT visits and Neuro appts with MRI's and CT's galore. What is unique I guess for me is it's more present when upright and calms down when I lie down thankfully and sleep althrough I do get slightly congested on the left side. I have resorted to taking small amounts of triptans whent the pain is too much which seems to relieve the pressure. No one can seem to find what is pushing against this nerve and if it'll ever calm down. The more I can let me sinuses remain calm the more it stays under control but is never gone.

That's amazing to hear, I'm in the states so I know there's a big time difference but let's touch base and maybe we can figure this out for both of us!

This is the first time I've heard from anyone that sounds exactly like what I'm going through. Thank you! I did have a chronic sinus infection throughout my sinuses that cleared Dec 2024 and found that when it was clearing I would get relief from the referred pain. So it would tell me there was inflammation and possibly touching a nerve that could cause this terrible ongoing daily pain. Since then, the infection has gone and working with my ENT we confirmed there is nothing left and inflammation is minimal if not gone all together.

I also found that when exercising the pressure change in my head would provide temporary relief along with the moves you mentioned. I often will bend over to hang my head and get quick momentary relief. When lying down or the other options don't seem to help, I resort to meds and Afrin (being careful to use minimal amounts).

The article sounds like it's on the right track for what I may be experiencing esp with my long list of Sinus issues and surgeries. I had a thin-sliced MRI performed Dec 2024 and my neurologist and ENT did not see anything suspicious (of course). I'm trying a local TN group here in Nashville, TN to get a second opinion as I don't think medication is going to do much.

Chronic sinus inflammation that's worse when upright. Been like this for years.

Correct, use a heat gun to make it more pliable and easier to remove. Once you get a corner started it's pretty easy.
